Iwaizumi is a coward

Why?

Is exactly what Iwaizumi thought.

Staring at himself in the mirror of his bathroom, like he had been doing for the past five minutes or so, he couldn't even remember anymore he'd done this so often that he
didn't even keep track of how long or how often he thought to himself about his childhood friend.

Toru Oikawa.

That was his name.

And in all honesty Iwaizumi was tired of having that name and face stuck in his mind with nothing to do about it.

What could he do?! Tell Oikawa how he feels about him? HA! He thought to himself I'll be a God before THAT happens.

They had years of friendship that they built together. What would happen if he even muttered a word about how he feels he shivered at the thought of what could happen though he didn't know how much more his heart could take.

He sighed. Looking at himself once more. he pointed a finger up and himself "You." he said "Are a fucking coward."

He pinched the bridge of his nose and walked away from the mirror and out of the bathroom, into his room then onto his bed. The flopped himself on to the soft cushions and grabbed his phone out scrolling through his notifications. A reminder. A text from makki. Most likely a meme. Another reminder. A notification from the weather. And.. Iwaizumi sat up and stared for a moment at the screen in front of him. He shifted his position so he was more comfortable then pressed call back.

The only thing he could hear was the quiet ringing from his phone then there was a small click.

Oikawa: Iwa-Chan!

Iwaizumi chuckled

Iwaizumi: Hey Oikawa

Oikawa: How are you? I tried to call you earlier but you didn't answer. What were you doing?

Iwaizumi thought for a moment

Iwaizumi: When did you call me again?

Oikawa: 18:00! (That's 6:00 pm for those who don't know(I'm not calling you dumb just trying to watch out for you incase you don't know it can help))

Iwaizumi: Oh, I was eating dinner with my mum. She made Butajiru (Also known as tonjiru. Soup made with pork and vegetables, flavored with miso.)

Oikawa: Ohhh Yummy

Iwaizumi: Have you eaten yet?

Oikawa: Yeah I have. So! i wanted to know if you want to meet me at the park in uh..Ten! Yes, ten minutes!

Iwaizumi raised an eyebrow

Iwaizumi: Oikawa it's almost 21:00...(That would be 9:00 pm)

Oikawa: I know! That's the point the sun won't be out!

Iwaizumi: What are you planning?

Oikawa: Oh nothing so~ is that a yes?

Iwaizumi laughed again

Iwaizumi: Alright. The one by the old elementary?

Oikawa: Yes! Alright see you then! Bye Iwa-Chan!

Iwaizumi laughed once again

Iwaizumi: Bye Oikawa

I hope you liked the first part of the fic. I think it turned out nicely. I'll try and update often every two weeks is what I'm planning on. No longer than that. And the shortest is as soon as possible.
