Prolouge

I giggled as Kaden threw me over his shoulder. I let out a sqeul as i clutched the back his shirt, afraid that i would fall face first into the ground. "Kaden put me down!" i giggled. He shook his head and began walking. It took me a moment to realise he was walking towards the pool. My eyes went wide as i started to squirm. "K-Kaden, put me down!, Put me down!" i yelled, he laughed. "Not a chance Tav." he laughed as he began to walk quicker to the pool.

I squirmed even more as i tried to get out of his hold. "You keep on wriggling around like a worm and ill drop you on that pretty little head of yours." He said. I gasped at the thought and i wrapped my arms around his waist and held on as tight as i could. "Kaden, put your sister down!" i heard my mother call. I looked up to see her standing in the door way. She wore a pretty orange sundress that reached her ankles, her brown hair was in a bun with a white floppy sunhat on top of her head. Even when it was 93° out she still managed to look cool as a cucumber. I, on the other hand, looked like a sweaty potato.

My matted sweaty brown hair hung in my face from being thrown over Kadens shoulder. I had on A pink bikini top that had a gold ring in the middle of the breasts and black bottoms. "Fine mom. If you say so." I could feel him smirk. One second i was thrown over his shoulder, the next i was screaming as my brother chucked me into the pool. The water felt like ice on my skin as i quickly swam to the top. I gasped for air as i spit the nasty tasting water out of my mouth.

I pushed the wet hair out of my face as i glared at kaden. He was on the ground laughing as he pointed at me and clutched my stomach. I quickly got out of the pool and ran towards my brother. He stopped laughing as he got off the ground and darted away from me. He ran around the pool and i followed. Although he was alot quicker then i was, i was still quick. We ran around the pool again before he slid the door open and ran in the house with me hot on his heels.

He ran into the kitchen, running to one end of the table he tried to catch his breath. I was at the other end of the table. I went to go after him but he ran around the table. I gripped the back of the chair as i glared at him. I ran at him again but he just ran around the table again. "Screw this." i mumbled. He smirked. I smirked right back. What he didnt expect was for me to climb on top of the table and run towards the other end. I didnt even care that i had stepped in a bowl of pasta and knocked over a glass of orange juice as i tackled my brother. He quickly pushed me off of him as he ran out the front door. I smirked. Grabbing the bowl of pasta and a fork i ran after him.

"Dad!" kaden screamed as he ran into the pack house straight into dads office. I quickly ran after him as i began to fling pasta at him. He was quick. Wet noodles stuck to the walls and pictures. Growling i threw the fork down. Kaden grabbed the bowl from my hands and dumped it on me. To say that was a suprise was the understatement of the century. I screamed as the wet slimy noodles slid all over my body.

"KADEN AND OCTAVIA JONES STOP THIS INSTANT." my dad, the alpha, boomed as he stood up from the table and slammed his hands down on it. Me and my brother frooze as we realised he was in a meeting. Are hands dropped to our sides as we looked at the ground, bowing are heads. I peeked up at him only to start laughing with my brother as the pasta stuck to the ceiling feel right onto our fathers head. He growled and we immediatley stopped laughing.

I gasped as i smelt the most amazing thing i have ever smelt. I sniffed the air, the smell of rain and pine needles filling my nose. Before i could even look at who it was i was crushed to a hard chest. "Mine." he growled. I didnt think twice before pressing my face to my mates chest and wrapping my arms around his waist.

I smiled, despite the fact that i was wet and covered from head to toe in slimy noodles and wet vegetables. I pulled back to look at the most gorgeous face i have ever seen. Only to gape in horror as i realised who it was. It was the most feared alpha in the whole world, the most cruel, brutal, terrifying alpha. My mate was Elijah Black.
