"Arizonaaa" dahlia semi-yelled coming out of her room

"Hey girl, ready for school?" I asked giving her a plate

I got up early this morning to make a small breakfast. I been craving some pancakes and Mari woke up asking me to cook.

"You want some syrup?" I asked as she walked over to her little table

I poured syrup on mari's pancakes and eggs, the way he likes it. Not me acting like a wifey though.

I had already cut up dahlia's pancakes and I poured syrup over them.

"My eggs too" she said as she held a sausage

"Phoenix she got a red face yesterday, for talking back to the teacher" mari came out her room with her bookbag and folder in the other hand

"Pussc" dahlia said to mari

"Watch yo' mouth li girl" Mari told her grabbing his plate

"She get all that shit from you and kam, y'all need to stop cussing around that girl, she going to school with that and them white teachers looking at the guardians as a bad example for her" I shook my head "soon enough they gone try to take her away"

He ain't even listening to me he went right to that game.

"And dahlia you can't be repeating everything you hear, atleast not at school" I told her giving her some apple juice

"Sorry Arizona" she said as I walked away going upstairs

I walked into my room, rushing to put on my school clothes. My hair was put into a back ponytail. I didn't feel like doing my hair today and I got work right after school.

I packed me some clothes to change into after school. I grabbed my bags, leaving my room and walking downstairs.

"Give me a piece" I said and he fed me a pancake

"Ight I'm gone" I said about to go "and she need to be there by eight"

"I know" he said pulling me in for a kiss
