Lisa trails behind Irene, who hasn't spoken a word since they left the group. Her brows furrow in confusion when Irene brings the Thai down a narrow path in between two buildings.
This is clearly not a well used alley seeing as how the grass is overgrown and there is no clear indication of foot traffic.
Lisa is about to question Irene on if this is the way to get to Jichu building, but bumps into the back of said woman who comes to an abrupt halt.
Before Lisa can even voice her surprise, the frigid beauty spins on her heels and with considerable force, shoves Lisa by the shoulders against the stone wall.
The power of the impact causes the breath to knock out of the Thai, who wheezes in pain and lack of air.
Within seconds, a forearm is placed across Lisa's throat with Irene's body pushing her harder against the jagged wall.
Lisa is disoriented, everything is happening so fast that her mind can't catch up.
"I'm only going to warn you once. Stay. Away. From Jennie." She growls out, spittle hitting Lisa's cheeks.
On instinct the Thai uses her hands to try and pull the arm away, digging her nails into skin. Irene hisses in pain, withdrawing her arm from Lisa's throat. Once the pressure holding her to the wall is gone, Lisa slumps down, gasping for air.
What the hell is her problem?
"She will never want you. You are nothing but a lowly human. Don't embarrass yourself by throwing yourself at her like a lost puppy." Irene spits out, kicking a piece of rubble that must have chipped off the stone wall, at the hunched over woman.
The little piece of rock skims her bicep, causing a small cut which begins to bleed.
Lisa would hiss at the pain if she wasn't still gulping for the much-needed air.
Irene dusts her hands off on her pants, before turning around and making her way to the opening between the two buildings.
She pauses at the mouth of the alleyway, turning her head to the side to make sure the Thai could hear her properly.
"You don't know what I'm capable of Lisa. I suggest you heed my warning." With that, Irene takes off, leaving Lisa alone on her hands and knees.
With her breath back, Lisa slumps onto her butt and leans her head back against the stone wall.
Her mind whirls as she stares after Irene's retreating figure.
The last thing Lisa wanted to do was make an enemy at school. Hell, Lisa has never had an enemy before in her life. Just the thought of a conflict with Irene causes a queasiness to bubble in her stomach.
Oh God.
She has no clue what Irene was talking about in regard to Jennie. They barely spoke to each other. Why was Irene feeling so threatened?
She feels like crying at the harassment that just took place.
She can feel the sting on her arm and the ache in her throat and back. She feels like one big bruise.
Sucking it up, Lisa wipes the stray tear that managed to escape her right eye and hoists herself up using the wall for support.
She looks down at her watch and notices that she is going to be late for class if she doesn't haul ass right now.
Quickly brushing the dirt and grass off her clothes, Lisa makes her way out of the alleyway and into the open space of the courtyard.
Pulling the map out of her back pocket, Lisa looks around herself for any landmarks that can tell her where she is. She sees a wooden sign stating that the building to her right that she was in-between was Pikachu building.
