TW: SWEARING, SOME SORT OF THREATENING (I guess) AND OVER WORKING

"Great, now I got to do my fucking homework." Tommy muttered to himself. He just finished a stream and left the call. He pulled up his homework on his computer and worked on it for a while. He was getting tired and left to get another can of Coca Cola. As he was getting up to leave, his mother called him. "TOMMY! COME DOWN HERE." "ALRIGHT MOM, I was just about to anyway." He said to himself. He walked down to see Tubbo, standing just outside the door.

"Oh, hey." Tommy said, to tired to say anything else. "Hey Tommy! I came to ask you something." Tubbo exclaimed. "why didn't you just text me?" " It was a last minute thing." "Texting would've been faster." "But I felt like asking in person." "Ok then. So what is it?" Tommy remembered. "Well, Wilbur asked me yesterday, and I made up my mind just now, but, wanna go to a fancy Hotel for a week? I think George might be there, and Wilbur." Tubbo asked. Tommy thought for a bit, he went over some things, he's got a big essay due soon, people depending on him. Even if they were just two things, they were still big. He can't just walk away from them.

"No thanks, I'll pass." Tubbo stood there for a second, shocked, confused, no one could tell. "Oh, ok, why?" He finally said. "Because I got a lot of stuff to do, and people to entertain!" Tommy said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, to him it was.
"But this is the chance to take a break from all of that! You have your own life, you know that right?" Tubbo said.
"Did Wilbur tell you to say that?" "Yeah, he knew exactly what to say." Tubbo admitted. "Look I appreciate the offer, but I can't ok? Plus I'm tired." Tommy said, pausing to yawn. "Ok, but we're leaving tomorrow! So if you change your mind, change it fast." He said as he walked out the door.

Just as it shut, he called Wilbur.
"Wilbur! I asked Tommy!" Tubbo said loudly into the phone. "What did he say?" "He said no. The same reason you said he would, how'd you know that he had an essay?" "He was worried about it a few days ago." "Makes sense." Tubbo agreed. "Listen Tubbo, Tommy needs this! He's been streaming for hours everyday! And right after, just doing work. Please, make him go." Wilbur pleaded.

He was not lying, Tommy had been streaming to much, trying to gain information about his essay, and living on coke for a couple of weeks. Even Jack noticed. "He claims it's, "not enough" information." He's showed it to me Tubbo! I've learned so much from that paper, I could tell you about coding history by heart." "Oh lord, we need to save him." Tubbo said. They agreed to give him til tomorrow until they started nagging him. George finally texted back just with "sure when?" And agreed to also force Tommy.

So soon, the sun slept and awoke, with Tommy fast asleep (some how). The next morning, Wilbur called him at 12. "Hey Tommy! You still not coming?" Wilbur asked hopeful. "Still a no, I'm about to stream anyway." Tommy told him. Wilbur knew he needed to act. "Tommy please go! Take a break! Sleep in for a day or two! I'll let you do some work, 2 hours everyday! Just please go." Wilbur asked. Tommy sight tiredly. "Wilbur I'd love to, but I can't and you know it. Maybe once I hand in my assignment?"

I don't know why Tommy was doing this, but Wilbur didn't care, he just needed to get him to go. So, he pulled the angry card "Tommy you fucking idiot, listen man, I didn't wanna do this but you leave me no choice, I will go to your house- "You don't know my address" "I'll get it from Tubbo." "Mkay"Tommy replied, nor really caring.
"Shut up. Anyway, I will go to your house, tell your mom EVERYTHING, so she'll force you, or get permission to pick you up and then literally pick you up, take you there myself." "You'd break your back." I don't care, just go." Tommy stayed silent, he did not want his mom to make him, but he also did not want to be dragged. "Can I bring my essay?" Tommy asked.
"Yes."
Hesitating, he sighed and said, "Fine, I'll go." Wilbur could not believe that worked. "Wait really?!" "Yes." "Great! I'll pick you up at 2 o'clock today." He said as he hung up the phone so Tommy couldn't say anything else. He happily texted Tubbo, "We got him, be ready by 2." Sent it, and packed his bags. Tommy grabbed an empty flash drive and used it to put his work in his old laptop, grabbed his suitcase and packed clothes, a tooth brush, a hairbrush, and put his laptop in. He shut it in and set his alarm to 1:30, fell on his bed, and slept.

He woke up to his alarm, wide awake, went down stairs and drank a whole can of Coca Cola a bit too fast.
"I told you to try water some time." His mother said. "Sorry." He spoke. "Do you know what hotel?" His mother asked. "How did you-" "Tubbo told me." "How did he tell you-, "Are you ready to go?" She asked. Tommy shrugged it off. "Yeah, I am." "Ok good. Bring some water with you." Tommy grabbed some water and left up the stairs, stubbing his toe in the process. "OW, fuck!" "HEY!" His mother yelled and wacked him on the head. He ran back up, rubbing his head.

He put the water on his suitcase and played on his phone until Wilbur texted him. After what felt like minutes, his mom called him. "THEY'RE HERE!" She yelled. "Already?" He thought. He grabbed the suitcase, put his phone in his pocket and grabbed the water. "Shit" He said and grabbed some earbuds and shoved them in pocket. "TOMMY!"
"YEAH IM COMING." He walked down the stairs, and out the door. " Bye!" His mom called from the couch. "Bye!" He said back.

Wilbur was outside, leaning against the car. "Hello." He said. "Hi." Tommy muttered. He could see Tubbo in the back and George in the front. "I'll put it in the trunk." Wilbur offered, taking the suitcase from him. Tommy sat in the back. Still tired but going anyway, and fighting the urge to run down the street. "Hi Tubbo!" Tommy said, trying to sound alive. "Hello!" "Hi George." Hi Tommy." Tommy sat down and stared out the window. Wilbur just slammed the trunk down and sat at the wheel. "Alright! Everyone ready?" He asked. "Good, now, let's go!" As the car started. Tommy watched the house disappear from afar. He was going to a hotel, for a week. He just couldn't wait.
