"Why do you hate L'Manburg?"
I don't. I hate the way the run it.
They made soldiers out of children
Instead of worrying about if theyre jokes were funny
They're worrying about their dignity
Instead of fighting over how to say their country's name correctly
They're fighting for it's liberty.
They made the hero of this story, one who fought so boldly
Into the villain of the country's history.
they made a child who was oh so bubbly
turn into a boy who looks over his shoulder anxiously
A girl who's laugh and voice rang beautifully
sound monotone and talk coldly
A child who shouted so loudly
turn into only whispering sadly
The hero's son,who looked at his father so proudly
now looks at him painstakingly
The traitor who acted normally
turns to hurting them so violently
It all fell down eventually
so,why do i hate L'Manburg?
Because they built it up so gracefully
but because they acted so foolishly
it fell apart so effortlessly.
It was never meant to be.
