My whole body was aching. every part of me longed for that hot water, the droplets caressing my body. No one was home and i liked it that way. the silence was a symphony to my soft spoken soul.
The soap washing away the tension in my shoulders.
i turned around to look at the small window above the shower wall...
the glass was faded and blurry much like my mind at the time.
it was raining in Seattle which wasn't much of a surprise so i turned around to look at the shadow of the pine trees me and my ex jaylen planted some odd months ago. god i fucking miss him...
i turned back around so i didn't have to face my old memories taunting me. tears welled in my eyes as i looked at the shower wall trying not to let my salty tears of pain suffuse with the shower water. "get it together Scarlett" "he's not coming back" i whispered to myself. On that note i rang my hair out and hopped out the shower to put my bra and panties on to go to bed. "god" i thought to myself, "i left a shit ton of hair on my shower wall."
