July 28, 1989~Y/n's POV~
Today has been a very long day. I woke up 10 minutes ago. At the fucking ass crack of dawn due to my mother having something planned for us today.
"Miss, I do not mean to rush you but you're mother is waiting for you" I heard from the family maid, Aurora. She's a very sweet lady maybe about mid 20's. I hate that she calls me something so formal but she is forced to by my parents.
"Alright! Thank you Aurora!" I yell from my closet. Now to find something 'presentable' so no one throws a fit. I find this silly skirt I got awhile back as well as a simple green shirt with lace sleeves. The shirt is beautiful but I absolutely hate skirts.
Walking out of my room and toward the dining room I run into my father, "Dear, try not to upset your mother today. She's in a pretty...bad mood." I nodded my head and kept walking.
I arrived in the dining room and sat at my designated seat. "Darling, today we received your letter from Hogwarts. We have 2 days to get your stuff and for you to say goodbye for a little." Hell yeah I get away and out of this house for a few! "We will start off by going to get your stuff for today followed by the Malfoy family coming over for dinner. They have asked that we let Draco stay over until you leave and we decided to allow it. Eat and then we will leave."
I ate quickly just to get this day over with. My mother finished soon after me and we left for Diagon Alley. We first got my uniforms and cloaks, then moved on to my broomstick, getting an owl, finding my wand, and then getting my text books and cauldrons. We finished collecting all of my things by 2 in the afternoon.
Arriving at home I told my mom I would see her at dinner and took all of my stuff up to my room with the help of Aurora. We set the things down on my bed and I thanked her. "Wait Aurora. Before you leave I have a favor to ask. Can you stop by the store whenever you go home and pick me up some either purple or blue hair dye as well as some bleaching hair dye?"
She looked at me confused, "Yeah sure. But wont your mother be upset as well as your father?"
"Yes, but that's the point for it. I'm getting tired of mother controlling me and father having to listen to her."
"Alright. I'll get it." She said shaking her head in disappointment.
"Thank you Aurora."
After Aurora left the room I went and got my trunk from my closet and put in all of my school things leaving my owl on the desk I had. I need to name her but I'll have Draco help me with that. I went back to my closet and gathered my personal clothes and certain valuables. I put them all in my trunk. Checking the time I realized it was already 7pm. Time for dinner soon.
I had to change into something even more 'elegant' since we have guests. I put on a very lacey shirt with a green tank top under as well as a black skirt that goes to my knees. and ready.
I walk down to the kitchen to see mother and father waiting at the dining table.
"Where are the Malfoy's?" I ask tilting my head.
"They should be here any minute. The maid will bring them in." Mother said sounding disgusted at the end. What a surprise. She hates Aurora and doesn't even call her by her name.
I sit down at my spot awaiting the Malfoy's.
Suddenly the door opened to show Aurora along with the Malfoy's. I look up and the next thing I know a small kid with platinum blonde hair is running at me.
"Y/n!!!!!" I know that voice. I stand up in time to catch Draco.
"What have I told you silly. Be careful. One of these days I might not be able to catch you in time." I say flicking his fore head. I set him down on his feet and motioned for him to sit. Mother looked pissed once I sat down same with Lucius. Though father and Narcissa seemed very happy.
"Malfoy's its nice to see you guys again. Thank you for coming to the dinner celebrating Y/n's letter and acceptance to Hogwarts." Father said with a smile.
Anyways yada yada yada boring dinner etc. Time for fun~Zen
"Y/n, Draco, you two are dismissed." Mother said. Both me and Draco stood up immediately, pushed in our chairs and ran up to my room. Turns out they also dropped off his belongings in my room.
"So Y/n, are you excited to be going to Hogwarts finally!?" Draco asked as soon as the door to my room was shut.
"Of course i am excited! Though i wont be able to see you for a while." I said flopping down onto my bed.
"That's okay cause i have something perfect." Draco walked over to my bed flopping right on top of me. "DRAY!! Ugh! Get offffff"
"Sorryyyy" Draco got off of me and sat down. He turned to me and handed me a box. "Open it"
I opened it to look inside.

"It's beautiful...Draco how were you able to get it?"
"Mom got it for us both. See I have a matching one! Also look inside!" He said pulling out his locket from under his shirt.
I opened the locket and its a picture of me and Draco.
I hugged him and asked for him to tell his mom thanks when I leave for Hogwarts.
"So do we have anything fun planned?" Draco asked while putting the locket on me.
"You bet we do. We are going to be able to do it tomorrow night." I say.
~Time skip to the next night cause I don't know what to put as a filler~
I got the things earlier today from Aurora she said she put them under my pillows. Once dinner was done we told my parents we were going to go hang out for a few and then go to bed.
Draco and I ran upstairs again and checked under my pillows and the boxes were there.
"Draco. I'm going to expect you know how to do this and help since you helped your mom."
He just nodded as we walked into the bathroom. We started to prepare the bleach and put up my hair in sections. Once that was ready Draco applied the dye. We then waited the complete time the box said and while i was washing it out Draco was preparing the bluish violet color. Once we put in this part we waited the estimated time again and i washed it out again.
When it was all completed me and Draco were happy with the results. Man for a 9 year old this kid is awesome. And now time for bed.
"Come on Dray. Time for bed." We walked to my bed. Having a king sized bed is awesome since we both get to sleep on a comfy bed instead of one of us on the floor.
I did it. I completed a chapter of something for the first time in awhile!!!~ Zen
