There was once a man. A young man, but an aging man.
A legend to the villains worldwide.
A founder of The Coalition of Villains.
Except, he was also a man of kindness, and deception.
A nobody who owned a bakery.
A follower of the government.
You see, this man was also a son of two. One whom was adopted, the other, biological, birthed from a mother who was never seen again. The biological child had been trained from birth. To kill, deceive, to be a villain, a part of The Committee.
When this said child came home one day, to find his father holding a different small child. With silky white hair and shining emerald eyes, he looked almost like a doll in the arms of his father. This child was only two at the time but held a power that could destroy planets, stars, they still do not know the extent of it.
This child, the adopted child, became a part of the family. His training was harsher, more difficult than that of the biological one. However, he was still learning the same skills the other had. The adopted child grew to be the man's favorite.
What happened to the biological child? Who seemed that he would be the star of the Committee, following in his fathers steps every which way he could.
Forgotten.
Oh crashing down it came, he was a fool to think that it would be easy. The adopted one had exceeded expectations, over shadowing him. The dirt layed on top of those expectations, the training for them, were unimaginable.
Of course, it wouldn't be easy for him as well. He was kidnapped by a rivalry. A corrupt group of villains, who just couldn't follow the rules. Villains here weren't rogue, looking for revenge. They were tactical, strategic, intelligent. This corrupt group jumped into big issues over a grudge, looked down upon. Although, nobody could deny the strength they held.
The adopted boy was taken at 9 by this group. Drastic things had happened in the four years he was missing.
The biological son was promoted and promoted, some of his fame restored. The father, three years into the search, was vigorously murdered. This death obviously put many people into shock. Detectives and Investigators, were shocked once they had arrived at the scene.
The man was blown up, all that remained was some flesh and a puddle of blood. Because of this, they were surprised wondering how? Searching for answers and a culprit. DNA couldn't be found, no trace was left of who did it. Who had murdered the King of Murder?
The biological son went ballistic in the fourth year. He needed answers but none were found. He trapped himself in a room, checking over and over again, trying to figure it out. A year of nothing and dead ends, he emerged. He began rampaging, murdered people of his own command in his rage.
He was, sadly, trying to find revenge, even resolve.
Going against the code would cost him. He was threatened with expulsion, but the Committee could not go through with it. Being the only one at the time left with the thoughts of the father, they had to keep him. Instead he was made president of the search group for the person he hated. The person who took his father's caring smile away from him, and to them instead.
The adopted son was found a few months after, just passing into the New Year. Battered he was. The boy's body looked the same with the malnutrition other than his height had grown a bit. He was always a pretty small and scrawny one though.
The adopted son's eyes were older than his thirteen year old body, and years older than the biological son's twenty six year old eyes.
When they made it back, the search group was congratulated. The biological son was happy, thinking his life with the adopted son could fade away. Wrong he was, The Committee decided that his punishment was not over yet. They gave him the worst punishment they could. What would make it most difficult for him. He and his adopted brother had to work together as partners for the rest of their years in Coalition of Villains.
Behavior had shifted in The Coalition of Villains, success rate had begun to turn downwards. Despite living in the same house for seven years, the "brothers" had no chemistry at all. The two were among the top in the Coalition, but it almost seemed as if they were beginners.
As if one of wasn't a prodigy, and if the other wasn't the biological birth child of the greatest villain to ever live. Heck, they were both personally trained by the greatest.
The adopted, didn't believe much in teamwork, and tended to leave the other alone to do his own thing that were obviously meant for more than one person. Not to mention, most missions required more physical strength, which sadly, while he possessed much mental strength and possibly the most intelligent he lacked a lot of physical strength.
The biological, as childish as it was, believed if he performed poorly with the other, he wouldn't have to work with him. See, as it was the truth, the biological did lack when it came to thinking correctly and often jumped in and used brute force. He was strong in the physical department.
The two were opposites. As they failed to see, they needed each other to complete the missions they were given. The adopted was needed to think through and plan, so there wouldn't be any mishaps along the way. The biological was needed so finish off the initial point of the plan, to eliminate whoever the target was and the witnesses.
The missions they were sent on had a repeating outcome. The biological often ended up getting caught (which the Coalition would later have to bail him out undercover. The prices becoming increasingly larger as well.) The adopted often ended up trying to take out the opponent himself. Which ended up in him getting more injured than necessary, and also most likely failure. There were moments where he wasn't clouded by arguing with his companion, and could actually think how the eliminate them himself.
At this point, it had been 6 months. No progress was made between the brothers. You could even say it was becoming progressively worse. Why hadn't the Coalition separated them yet? The thought had surely passed through the duos mind. What the Coalition's motive could be, is unclear to everyone. However, it must be pretty good if they were going to keep letting missions get jeopardized. Important missions too.
While the motive was unclear, it was true the brothers needed to get their acts together. As much as the potential they held, everyone knew the Coalition couldn't let this go on for much longer. The villains were in a losing streak, they could be facing a riot from the villains against the villains.
The duo were getting closer to the line of expulsion from the Coalition of Villains.
