Nyx rolled over in the bed, letting out a laugh as Lucifer groaned, pulling her into his side so she laid partially on top of him.

"Don't hurt yourself, old man" She teased, biting back a smirk at the look Lucifer sent down at her. "Now darling, I will choose to ignore that comment," He chuckled, pressing a kiss to her forehead. The sweet action made Nyx freeze for a second, quickly hiding her reaction by running her hand through her hair.

Lucifer let out a soft sigh, situating himself more into the bed and shutting his eyes. "Um, excuse me? What do you think you're doing?" Nyx asked, raising an eyebrow as she hopped out of bed, grabbing one of Lucifer's discarded button-up shirts and pulling it on along with her underwear.

"I could quite literally ask you the same," Lucifer looked at Nyx with a pout, seeing her getting dressed. "I was under the impression this wasn't just a smash and dash"

Nyx rolled her eyes, buttoning her jeans. She had tucked the end of Lucifer's shirt into the waistband, leaving three of the top buttons open to display her cleavage. "Well, Luci, I am a creature of the night,' She turned to face him, her eyes their natural purple with white pupils, a sinister smirk on her lips. "And you own a nightclub." She finished in a seductive purr, letting her hand graze its way up Lucifer's exposed torso before gently wrapping her hand around his chin.

Nyx tightened her hold, forcing Lucifer to hold his head back and lock eyes with her. His brown eyes went ablaze with red as his lips fell slack, a soft moan falling from them. Nyx licked her lips, her thumb tracing over the devil's lips as she hummed.

"You may join me... if you like."

As soon as she released her hand, Lucifer sprung up from the bed, pushing Nyx against the decorative wall of stone. He held her hips tightly as he grinned widely. Though, a finger to his chest halted his actions, Nyx shaking her head with a smile. "Only if you're good, Angel" She whispered, pressing a soft kiss to his lips before ducking away, making her way out through the penthouse to pour a quick drink.

Lucifer let out a breathy chuckle as he pulled on a dark blue suit with a black undershirt, shaking his head. "I now see why dear old dad never told me about such as you" He stated once he was dressed, pressing a kiss to Nyx's cheek. "Shall we, love?" He offered his arm out to Nyx, but before she could take it his phone began to ring.

Lucifer let out a groan, pulling his phone from his pocket. "Detective! A bit late, perhaps?" Nyx pursed her lips once she realized it was Chloe calling, holding her hands up and waving before downing a shot.

Lucifer nodded as he listened to Chloe talk, his eyes looking to Nyx after a minute or so. "Alright, we'll be there in 10"

Nyx spun around, her eyebrows furrowed as she looked at Lucifer quizzically as he grabbed his keys and ushered her to the Elevator. "What?! Why?! It's 8 pm and last I checked, Decker was getting me fired!" She pouted, not sad about the firing, more about the fact that she couldn't party. All the best chaos happened at night. Plus, she was literally in full energy once the sun went down.

"Well, yes and I do apologize love but the fun will have to wait."

Lucifer explained as they made their way down to the street, hopping into Lucifer's car before driving off.

"The department requested you specifically. Apparently, our victim is tied to the FBI" Lucifer explained, Nyx nodded with understanding. "And to them, so was I so perhaps I could help?" She offered in completion, Lucifer sending a side smile her way. "Exactly, darling.'

Nyx and Lucifer arrived to the crime scene, the alleyway illuminated by flashing blue and red lights. They ducked under the caution tape, Chloe meeting them before they got to the body. "Hey," Chloe greeted simply, sending an awkward closed mouth smile to Nyx, which she returned with a wave. "So what do we have, detective? Some poor sap a dollar short on his latest re-up?" Lucifer joked as they followed Chloe up to the body where Ella was taking pictures with Dan standing close by.
