I walked into the building and noticed how nothing had changed in the time that I was off. I didn't miss this place at all.

"Callie!" exclaimed Viola

People would think that its been longer than just yesterday that she last saw me.

"Morning Vi" I smiled

"I've missed you being here so much, thank god you're back"

I wouldn't exactly thank god, this was the last place I wanted to be right now but I was pleased to be back with Viola.

"Make sure you take it easy though won't you" she spoke

"Of course" I agreed

"Oh also..."

I watched as her eyes moved from me and stared over my shoulder instead.

"Who the hell is that handsome specimen?"

Confused at what she was talking about, I turned around to see what specimen she was referring to.

My eyes widened at the sight before me. With the large bouquet of flowers in his hand and a dashing smile plastered on his lips, he walked straight toward me.

"Callie"

His voice made my knees weak.

This was not happening right now.  This criminal couldn't possibly be stood in front of me.

"Callie, don't just ignore the poor man"

Viola's voice brought me out of my thoughts. How long was I stood here staring at him?

"It's alright, I know she's quite the day dreamer" he spoke to viola but didn't remove his eyes from me.

"Can we talk in private?" I spoke up

Viola looked between us before speaking. "Use my office if you like"

"Thanks" I nodded and quickly turned.

I could hear his footsteps behind me and with each one I grew more nervous. He shouldn't know that I know anything since he wouldn't have seen me at the police station.

Maybe it would be best to act clueless.

I step aside the door of Viola's office to allow him entry. Once he stepped inside I quietly pushed the door closed.

Turning around I came face to face him. He was stood extremely close. Usually this would make me super uncomfortable but I found myself unfazed by the proximity. It was as if this was normal.

"what are you doing here?" I questioned

"Bringing you flowers, my darling"

There's those weak knees of mine again.

"Why?" I asked

For a second he looked away from me. He gently dropped the flowers onto the chair beside us before returning his gaze back to me.

In the next second he placed both his hands flat against the door on either side of my head as if to trap me in my place.

"well I would like to know why too" he spoke slowly

"W-what?"

"Why did you keep quiet?"

"I don't know what you're talking about" I lied

I knew full well what he was talking about. He wanted to know why I didn't tell the police that he was one of the men that robbed the bank when I had the chance to.

I had lied to detective Holloway and told him I didn't recognize any of the men in that line. I still don't understand why I lied.

I tried to tell myself it was because I thought he saved me from being shot by the other man but part of me knew that was a lie too.

His hands dropped from beside my head in order to find my left hand. His hand wrapped around mine and raised it to my chest level.

His hands were so soft and warm.

That's when I felt him once again gently straightening my fingers from their closed fist position. Making a fist was something I clearly did subconsciously while nervous.

"I'll ask you again, Why did you keep you're pretty little mouth shut when you knew it was me?"

"I don't know" I whispered

I hoped he could see I was telling the truth.

"That was clever you know, getting us to show our arms. You knew my scar didn't you"

"yes" I clarified

He remained holding my hand still with one of his while raising his other until I felt his thumb slowly come in contact with my bottom lip. He slid his thumb along it agonizingly slow.

"I suggest that you also remain keeping this mouth shut unless you want me to make life very hard for you"

I heard his words clearly but couldn't bring myself to respond to his threat. I wasn't exactly planning on telling anyone anyway.

I nodded my head to answer.

"That's my good girl" he smirked
