"How did you know she's the sister of that kid?" asks Lucci, handing over a cup of sake to the Sakazuki.

The Admiral takes it and circles the fluid in the cup.

"Her eyes," answers the man. "The same fire burning inside them that I will never forget. And there was her sword too. You didn't recognize it?"

"I don't know much about katanas," shrugs the agent, folding his arms. He lours, and his pigeon flies around the room. "What was it?"

"It was one that nobody saw for twenty years by now," growls Sakazuki, sticking out his cigar to drink the alcohol. "One that gave a name to the boy of its past wielder, as it turned out."

Lucci takes a deep breath, then shakes his breath and laughs as he understands.

Akainu puts down the cup and places the sword on the table between them from his side.

"One of the Supreme Grade Blades," he continues. "And I suppose you can guess its name."

"Ace," smirks Lucci, touching the golden sheath.

But only a moment later, he pulls his hand back as he feels the power radiating from it, strong enough to cast a shadow over his mind, bringing odd fatigue. The wide smile disappears.

"Ever since I took this sword from that girl, nobody could wield it. I gave it secretly to several of our best," says Akainu, throwing a scarf over the weapon to hide it again. "But this katana accepts nobody and drains the energy of those who try to lift it. It has to do something with her Devil Fruit."

"That ability is why I'm still here," answers Lucci. "I don't care about her family. That's the Navy's business to settle. But the Government needs that power, so I must find a way to get it."

"I think I already gave you more time than needed," growls Sakaziku. "I trusted the CP0 on this one, but I'll take the matter into my hands if you don't make progress soon. She can't run around in the world, especially since we failed to confirm Portgas' death either."

"He has a grave next to Whitebeard's," sighs the agent. "If that's not enough for you, I don't know what is."

"I couldn't finish my move because of the traitor," snaps the other. "The last thing we saw was Marco carrying the body away. That's not enough."

"Whatever happened that day, it's not your current concern," states Lucci, retrieving his confident smile. "I know how to play my cards. It's time you learn it too."

"Watch your mouth!" shouts Akainu, but he stops when the other pulls a piece of paper from his pocket.

"I left a Vivre Card with the girl," he says. "And soon, I'll visit her to see how our things are. I have a feeling she didn't go far. We must find a grip on her to turn her to our side. Last time, we got a report of Trafalgar's crew taking her away from the Marineford."

"And what do you expect to find after all these weeks?" asks the Admiral, lighting up his next cigar.

The agent shrugs with a grin and stands up to take his leave, only telling the answer above his shoulder.

"Someone she cares about enough to break down when I take him away forever."
