I watched the video a gazillion times. It all feels surreal. Like Kai is still somewhere but I can't see him,hear him or touch him.
Dad snapped me out of my trance when he wiped the tears off my face. I looked at him and said "Dad promise you'll never leave." I was practically begging him. He was all I had right now.

"Dad promise you'll never leave." She said looking into my eyes. The sarcastic,bitchy, strong Kenya was gone. The blazing fire in her eyes has died down. She is broken by her brother's departure. And in this world we live in,people die all the time.
"Dad promise me!" she raised her voice seeing that I havent answered her yet. "You know I can't promise that. 'Cause death is inevitable." She rolled her eyes.
"Pablo. I know." I smiled at her nickname for me. "Hey why do you call me 'Pablo' ?" she just chuckled while standing up from her chair. "Do you prefer Dad ?" She asked. "You're not answering my question."
"Dad I call you Pablo 'cause you sell drugs. I dont know if you understand me. See Pablo Escobar also-" i cut her off. "Okay cool I get it." She laughed. Its been a while since I've heard her laugh. My daughter is so beautiful,just like her mother. "Dad I want to join the business." I cant allow her to. This is a cruel world we live in. The mafia isnt what I want for her. I want her to live a normal live,get a job,fall inlove,have kids and grow old with her husband. "We'll talk about this another time." She rarely asks for anything and now that she is , I can't give her what she wants.
