I feel like I've met this girl before. I don't know where. I have a gut feeling that I've met her before. I just know it. I can't fully put my finger on where.

As Maddy goes to the only seat that's right beside me the smell of her perfume is the first thing that notice about her. It also smells familiar. I'm not sure where or how. It's almost like it's from a dream.

The first period goes by almost pretty dull. All that happened is the usually first day stuff. Since we need to still get to know each other after twelve years of being close nicked group of students. Clearly that means we need to get each other even more. The only one that we know nothing about is Maddy.

"I just want remind you all that the juniors will be practicing in the Shakespeare festival on the second weekend in November," Mr. White called out as well start leaving the classroom.

Oh shit. The Shakespeare festival. How did I managed getting such a huge brain fart about all juniors participating in it. Luckily I don't have to do it ever again after this year. I doubt that I would even want to do this again after this year. Most people don't. Mainly historians and major Shakespeare fanatics are even interested in it.

As me and Caleb walk out the classroom Maddy bumps into me.

"Crap. I'm so sorry. I should've been looking where was going," she said.

"It's okay. Do you need help getting to your next class?" I asked.

"Um, sure. That would be really helpful," she said.

She gave me a look at her schedule so I know where to guide her to.

"Oh, your next class is right next to mine," I said.

"That's convient," she said.

"Yeah, it is. I'll bring you there now," I said.

She seems slightly shocked when start I to pull her towards to where her next class is.    Has she ever been to a high school before?

"Emmett, where are you going?" Caleb asked.

"Where do you think?" I sarcastically asked back.

I was too far away before Caleb could say more about it. I just hope that I don't run into Elizabeth. If she sees me with another girl she'll make a whole unnecessary sense. I don't need all that drama today. Knowing her she may search me out just so she and Savannah can cause some drama.

We are about to get to her class I swear I felt trying to get my attention by tapping me on the shoulder. I don't want to deal with it. I just want to get through the day as swiftly as possible. I don't need any of Elizabeth's problems.

"So this is your next class," I said.

"Thank you so much. I would've been late for sure," she said.

"Really, it's no problem," I said.

"As long as you say so," she said.

She goes into her next class as I walk to my class. At least it's right next by. I don't need to go out of my way. It could of been of the exact opposite side of the school.

I take a deep breath when I have the chance to look around who's in the class. Elizabeth or Savannah aren't here. Thank god for that. They didn't do anything last period still they could do something at anytime.

The last period bell rings. Finally the school day is done. At least now I can get as far away from Elizabeth as I can. She's been very insistent on us getting back together since I broke up with her. Which I'm completely not interested in at this point.
