If you saw Siraphim Riddle walking down the streets of London, you would have seen her as a completely ordinary little girl. The only thing that made her look unique was her insanely curly hair. It was black, just like her mother's.
Her parents were another thing that made her extraordinary. You see, Siraphim was never meant to be on this planet. She was born from a horrible curse. You might think that this made her incapable of loving anyone, but she was the biggest ball of love you would ever meet.
Before her first day at Hogwarts, Narcissa slicked Siraphim's curls down into neat waves.
"Listen, Siraphim. You mustn't make a mess, you mustn't wander about, you mustn't throw a fit, and you mustn't tell anyone about your family. Okay?"
"Yes, Aunt Cissy."
So Narcissa sent Siraphim on her way to the Hogwarts Express with her son, Draco.
"Draco, what is school like?"
"How am I supposed to know?" Draco scoffed. Siraphim shrugged and continued onto the train. Now, all she had to do was find a place to sit.
She tried all of the compartments except for one. In all of them, they pretended the seats were reserved for someone else. Except in one of them, where a girl with equally curly hair was blocking the entrance.
The last one was completely empty except for a nasty rat sitting in the corner. Siraphim would have to sit by herself.
"Anything from the trolly, dear?" Siraphim pulled out one galleon from her pocket.
"Two chocolate frogs, please." She said politely. Siraphim always loved chocolate frogs. She just wanted the frog. She carefully opened the box and just caught the frog before it jumped out.

"Siraphim Riddle." Professor McGonagall called as she held the sorting hat high. Siraphim nervously stepped forward and sat on the stool. The sorting hat was placed on her head.
Oh, I know who you are and I know just what to do with you.
"SLYTHERIN." The sorting hat shouted. The Slytherin table went completely bonkers with whoops and cheers, for they had a feeling she would be a great witch. Siraphim, however, was not so pleased. She had always wanted to be a brave Gryffindor, but she wasn't. She was a coward and was afraid of her own shadow. She didn't belong.
Despite her parents, she was no enemy. Siraphim was the nicest, kindest witch you would ever meet. She never whined, never made a mess, and she was always kind to everyone, no matter whether they deserved it or not. It was a shock to everyone, even Draco, that she was put in Slytherin. She seemed so nice and nice she was. Although, she could be quite a trouble-maker, she would never hurt a fly. Seems like some things just run in the family.
Siraphim sat down at the Slytherin table with everyone else and waited for the feast to start. But, something caught her attention.
"Harry Potter." Professor McGonagall called. The whole hall went silent. You could hear a coin drop, it was so quiet.
Siraphim recognized the name straight away. Harry Potter was the boy in the stories she always heard of. She strained her neck to look over everyone else. All she could she was the sorting hat and some untidy, black hair.
"GRYFFINDOR." The sorting hat shouted.
The Harry Potter boy went to his seat at the Gryffindor table. He say at just the right spot where she could see his face.
Suddenly, food appeared in front of her, next to her, and all around her. She had never been given so much food before. She always just ate what everyone else was eating. If she didn't like it, that was too bad. If Draco didn't like it, well, that was a different story.
Siraphim joined in with everyone else and grabbed as much food as her large plate could hold. She never even realized that she was staring at the Harry Potter boy the entire time Dumbledore was giving his speech.
"So, what's your name?" Asked a 5th year boy sitting next to her.
"Siraphim Riddle."
"Odd name. I'm Divitas Anders."
"Well, Divitas, I don't intend on staying here long, so you don't even need to know my name." Siraphim said turning away from Divitas to eat the food on her plate.
"You mean you're running away?" Divitas asked with his eyes wide.
"Yes! I belong at home, not with all you naive Slytherins. Even if I was in Gryffindor, I'd still leave. Or at least I think I would.."
"So you just don't want to be a Slytherin? Well, let me tell you that Slytherin is the best house and I don't suggest you leave." Divitas said with his eyes narrowing dangerously.
"Whatever." Siraphim said annoyed. "Now will you please leave me alone so I can finish my meal?"

After the feast, Siraphim was directed to the Slytherin common room. She lay in her dormitory, thinking about how she could escape.
"Obviously not the front doors, Filch will be out there, but... Floo powder! That's it!" Siraphim grabbed some emergency floo powder from her trunk and threw it into the common room fire place, stepped in and shouted, "Malfoy Manor!" Siraphim was whisked away and she landed on the kitchen hearth with a thud.
"Why has Phimmy returned so soon?" Dobby asked.
"I didn't feel like staying. I just don't think I should be in Slytherin. I should be in Gryffindor " She replied. Suddenly, her uncle, Lucius, barged into the kitchen.
"What are you doing here?" He asked angrily.
"I left. I don't like Hogwarts." She answered. Lucius had an extremely angry look on his face.
"Whatever. Just go to your room and don't make a sound. My... friends... are coming over." Lucius instructed her. She nodded. "Now tell me what you'll be doing the whole time."
"I'll be in my bedroom, making no noise, and pretending I don't exist." Siraphim sighed. It was the same thing every time.
"'You must not leave your room! You are a disgrace! Why can't you be more like Draco?'" Siraphim replayed all of her uncles commands and insults in her head. She always wanted to see those "friends" of his.
'I bet they're all a bunch of weirdos, just like Draco. She thought. 'He thinks I'm weird, but I've walked in on him doing weirder things. One time, I walked in on him trying to unclog the toilet with his broomstick. I bet I've got more maturity in one finger than he's got in his whole body!' Siraphim raged to herself.
She heard the door open and some people stomp in. She put her ear up to her bedroom door and listened carefully. All she could hear was some mumbling and cackling.
It was getting close to dinner time and Siraphim was becoming quite hungry. She quietly tiptoed into the kitchen to grab a quick snack. As she entered the kitchen, she jumped at the sight of a woman with hair just like her's. The woman jumped even more than Siraphim and ran back down the hall.

6 years later...
"Where are Dobby and Phimmy walking to exactly?" Dobby asked.
"Just to the park, like always, nothing special." Siraphim replied.
Suddenly, Dobby stopped with a horrified look on his face. Siraphim looked at him, confused.
"Something is not right. Harry Potter is in trouble! Dobby must save him!" Dobby said frantically and with a loud CRACK! he disapparated.
"Harry Potter? The boy who lived?" Siraphim asked, but Dobby was already gone. Now she was all alone, so she decided to walk home. • • •
"Aunt Cissy Can I ask you a question?" Siraphim asked her aunt, Narcissa, as they sat on the couch.
"Of course." Narcissa replied reassuringly.
"Why don't my real parents want me?" Siraphim questioned. Narcisaa twiddled her thumbs in silence. She sighed before answering.
"Well, your 'father', Tom Riddle, knew that the one thing your mother feared was a child. One day, she did something awful, something we do not speak of. As punishment, he cursed her with a child."
"What was my mother's name?"
"Bellatrix Lestrange."
"So, Tom isn't exactly my father?" Siraphim asked, slightly confused.
"No, not biologically, but he was the one who cast the curse." Narcissa said with a sigh.
"Did he even love her?"
"Siraphim, Tom Riddle was born from a love potion, not true love, so he is incapable of ever loving anyone."
"Well then I hate Tom Riddle! I hate him!" Siraphim shouted.
"No, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Narcissa shushed Siraphim. "Do not speak ill of Tom Riddle!"
"I don't care! I will find him and I'm going to kill him and my no good mother!" Siraphim screamed.
"Shut up and go to your room!" Narcissa shouted back.
"Fine!" Siraphim yelled and stomped up to her room. She stuffed her face into her filthy pillow and screamed of anger. All Narcissa could hear was muffled screams and stomping feet.
