I wake up with a slight knock on my door.

"Cathy. Time for school." I freeze when I hear TT's voice, but calm down when I remember the events of yesterday. I groggily get up and - for the first time in a long time - didn't wince when my feet touch the floor. It's actually carpeted.

I wander towards my dresser and pull out a black T-shirt, black skinny jeans, a black sweatshirt, and ratty black converse. I look at myself in a mirror. 'Wow.' I think. I comb my midnight black hair and add a layer of foundation and some mascara.

I walk downstairs and see TT already there.

"Bowls are in the cupboard next to the fridge, spoons in that drawer and cereal is in that pantry. Obviously milk is in the fridge." He says, pointing out each thing. I nod a thank you and get my breakfast.

"When does the bus come?" I ask after I finish.

"'Bout 10 minutes." TT answers. "You sure I can't protect you?" Why on Earth would he want to protect me.

"I'll be fine." I say. He sighs.

"Alright. But if they are teasing you, I am definitely going protection mode." I nod.

"Deal."

T R O . . . TT

I've always wanted a little sister to baby, so when Cathy was adopted into my family, I realized that she needed protection more than most girls at school. So instead of doing what I would usually do when my friends tease, I'll stand up for her.

At 7:34, the bus comes. I sit in my usually spot in the back with my best buds, Jack and Alex. I notice that Cathy just sits in the seat right behind the driver. No one ever sits there, since the driver is a jerk, but she obviously doesn't have any intentions of bothering him. (A/N I know I made his POV a bit short, but Im the author, so...)

I sit in the front of the bus, right behind the driver. I immediately regret it.

"What's a beautiful girl like you sitting in the front for?" He says, winking. I mentally gag.

"Wanna go out on Saturday?" He asks with another wink. I'm. Still. Gagging.

"Uh, no. Sorry, not sorry." I say with a bit of sass.

"EXCUSE ME!?!?!?!" He shouts. The whole bus is looking at us now. I see TT rush up out of the corner of my eye.

"What's your problem?!" TT asks.

"This THING won't go out with me!!!" The driver rages.

"FIRST OFF, SHE'S NOT A THING! SECOND OFF, LEAVE HER ALONE. WHY WOULD SHE WANNA GO OUT WITH YOU!?!?!?" TT shouts back. The bus is silent. The driver narrows his eyes.

"Sit down, mister. And take the thing with you." The driver says.

"Gladly." TT mutters as he grabs my arm and we head to the back. I hear the whispers of the bus.

".....he....her?" ".....together...." "....is she...." I'm scared to know what rumors they're making up. TT sits on a sit and motions for me to sit next to him. I do.

*******************************************************************************

So that's not really a cliffhanger.

TT: Nope. Not at all.

Me: Why are you here?

Cathy: We both are.

Percy: Don't forget about me!

Me: Percy!? Seriously, you need to get back to your own series.

Percy: Fine....*walks away*

Me: And you two.... you shouldn't be here. Leave.

Cathy: Fine.... *walks away*

TT: Before I go, I have a message. Comment, please! And keep reading!

Me: Yeah. Do that.
