You reach into the hat to pull out a small silver container.

"What's this supposed to be?" you thought to yourself.

"Oh, that's one of my first aid kits, (y/n)." you hear the deep, baritone voice of Shoto beside you. You turned and expected to see his usual deadpanned demeanor, but something seemed...different? Especially since he didn't make eye contact with you as you hand him his first aid kit.

"Do I really have to do this?" he quietly asks Mina.

"Yes! Now into the closet, you two!" Mina starts pushing Shoto into the small space. You followed behind them. She closes the door behind him, leaving you and Shoto in the dark. The only available light was coming from outside under the door. It was just enough for you to see each other. It was quiet for about a minute before Shoto breaks the silence. You could feel your heart pounding loudly.

"So...how are you?"

"I'm doing well, Shoto. H-how are you?" you ask.

"I'm...fine...I guess? I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do here. Ashido didn't explain the premise behind the game to me." He looks away.

"Oh...well, basically the idea behind the game is that once two people are chosen to go in the closet for seven minutes, they...um..." You start to stutter and blush a bit.

"They what?" Shoto asks.

"...they kiss..." You mumbled and looked away blushing.

"Huh? I couldn't hear what you said." Shoto says.
"They kiss." You said at a volume just loud enough for him to hear. You look back at Shoto and see him with a surprised expression. A light pink blush appeared on his face. His eyes were also wide and he wasn't blinking

"Um? Shoto? Are you okay?" you asked.

He shook his head.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I just...didn't think I'd ever get a chance like this." He says softly.

"I understand if you don't- wait...WHAT?" you replied.

"I know I'm not the best at expressing myself. I'm still learning about how to be open with how I feel. But, I do know how to do one thing." He says.

"What's that?" You ask.

"Tell you that I really like you. Not just as a friend." He says. He started to smile, which made you blush like a madman.

"No no no! Do not start spacing out! Not now!!!" you thought as he moved closer to you.

"I like you too, Shoto. Also not just as a friend." you managed to say without sounding too flustered. Shoto takes your hands in his.

"So if it's alright with you, (y/n). I'd like to play the game now." He says and leans in.

"I'd like that very much." you replied and started to lean in too.

However, right before your lips could touch the door swung open.

"Time's up you guys!" Mina says.

You and Shoto turn your heads to the door. Everyone was staring at you two in disbelief.

"Holy crap! They almost kissed???" Denki exclaimed.

"Who would've thought Roki would have actually played the game!" Sero exclaimed.

"So if Todoroki decided to play then that means he had to have had a valid reason to..." Deku started to go on another mumbling tangent.

Everyone else was chattering and whispering among themselves as you guys were still standing there in the closet. You were super confused and embarrassed since you were still holding Shoto's hands.

"Oh god, what do I do???" you thought.

Suddenly, you felt a chill as Shoto created a small wall of ice between you and the rest of the group.

"Huh? Why did you...oh..." you went from talking to muttering real quick.

Cold air escaped from his mouth as he sighed in what sounded like relief. You shivered slightly from how breathtaking he looked and from the ice beside you.

"Sorry, (y/n). Are you cold?" He asked.

"Oh no! I'm fine! You don't have to- Eep!" you squeaked as he wrapped his left arm around your back. He increased the temperature just enough to warm you up. HIs touch was so comfortable

"Are you warm now?" He asked.

"Y-yeah." you replied.

"I'm glad. So, would you like to continue where we left off before everyone interrupted?" He asked.

"Gladly!" You said.

Shoto pulled you in by your waist and planted a gentle kiss on your lips. You wrapped your arms around him as you melted into a pile of pure bliss. After about a minute, you guys broke the kiss and Shoto melted the ice beside you. Everyone was still there. Some were confused, others were cheering on Shoto. He turns back to you, still holding you close.

"I think this is the part where I ask you out now. So would you be mine, (y/n)?" He asks.

"If that means you get to be mine, baby." you replied.

He smiles and locks eyes with you.

"I'd like that very much, baby."
