What is eternity? Just an unchanging and constant force or environment? A span of endurance? The greatest resistance of nature? It all depends on perspective.
For vampires, eternity is a span of endurance. A resistance against bloodlust and parasitic hunger. Or, An unchanging need to be satisfied, perhaps a pleasure and life full of freedom and strength. For werewolves, magic users, angels, demons, spirits, and such, eternity ideals remain the same. The supernatural always seems to have a greater need for life than humans. Humans of course have desires, hungers, needs, and relationships as well (all living things do) although there is a renowned difference between them.
Birth. You probably thought I'd say death no? Maybe strength or ability? While those things are true, the birth of all the supernatural and natural beings are different and unique. Because of this fact, the supernatural and natural worlds have decided to use origin to determine a hierarchy fitting their perspectives.
The supernatural and natural hold all full-blooded beings above half-blooded beings because they believe complete forms are worth praise and incomplete things go against nature yada yada- but more interestingly right at the top of the natural hierarchy are some supernatural beings and at the bottom are other supernatural beings. Like a sandwich with humans in the middle (which probably sounds delicious in different ways as well as revolting in others. Perspective is lovely isn't it?). However, the supernatural hierarchy has no humans at the top (They are certainly at the bottom) instead they have nature as a whole above the royal full-bloods. Now, depending on perspective unique to each individual regardless of what they are classified as, hold something above it all; God, Family, Friends, Themselves, or a loved one. For those polytheists feel free to argue gods plural but we all know you have a favorite. (cough Tyr cough)
