Bell never had understood how hestia felt for him, instead he often ran after Ais or as hestia called her "stupid sword princess". Bell was a good guy but unfortunately he was also pretty dumb. Today was just another of many days where Bell was off with Ais leaving hestia by herself.
Welf was delivering a new sword he had crafted for Bell when he instead ran across Hestia who looker pretty upset. Welf was concerned for the goddess. "Whats wrong hestia?" He nervously asked. Hestia kicked a rock 🪨. "Bells hanging out with the stupid sword princess again" she angrily said. Welf sat down next to her and patted her on the head. "Bells pretty dense isn't he" chuckled Welf "its pretty obvious you like him". Hestia nodded quickly and welf removed his hand from her head. "Anyway, your a million times prettier then Ais" Welf grinned encouragingly. They sat in a momentary awkward silence before Welf got up to leave. After getting up Welf opened his mouth to say goodbye when Hestia jumped up and hugged the red haired man tightly. Welf blushed not knowing what to do in a situation like this. "Did you mean what you said about me being prettier than Ais?" Hestia said quietly. "Of course! Your the prettiest woman I have ever seen, any man is lucky to even get a chance to see your beauty with his own eyes!" Welf said quickly and then covered his eyes with his hand mentally kicked himself for sounding cheesey. He was about to remove his hand from over his face when he felt something soft touch his lips. He uncovered his eyes to see Hestia pressing her lips against his in a soft and very sweet kiss that lasted for a couple of minutes that Welf hoped would never end. When the kiss did eventually end Hestia and Welf were both blushing quite a bit. Hestia wrapped her arms around welfs arm and clung to him tightly as they stayed like that for a while just watching the sun set in the sky.
