The day was light and it was supposed to rain, but can we really trust the weather department? Seokjin sighed as he looked out of the window and smiled. Tomorrow was going to be his wedding to the love of his life. He was ecstatic and nervous. Something about tomorrow didn't settle into his heart. He shrugged it off and looked at the photo he had on the bedside. It was of him and his fiance. He smiled and thought when did his love turn to so much more that he said yes to the proposal even without a second thought. 4th December 2020. His birthday. The day Jiwon proposed to him, he said yes immediately. Though Hoseok says Seokjin said yes to spare Jiwon from public mortification, Seokjin thought it was because he was equally in love with him. Also, it was a private party.

He was about to leave the room when his phone rang. It was an unknown number. He was about to cut it, but something in him told him to pick the call. He sighed and picked the call up. "Hello?"

Is this Kim Seokjin?

"Yes. But who are you?"

I am Jang Dani. You are going to marry Jiwon tomorrow, aren't you?

Now, Seokjin was scared. "Yes. But I don't know you."

Yeah, I know that. And listen. He is not going to come to the marriage registrar tomorrow. I am his girlfriend and I am pregnant with his baby. I will tell him this news and he will never come to you tomorrow. So, I hope you don't waste your time. He was never going to be married to a male anyway. Bye!

Before Seokjin could say anything, the call was cut. He let out a broken breath and immediately called Hoseok, "Hobi-yah..."

"I won't say I told you so, but I told you so," Hoseok said as he gave a cup of tea to a very tense Seokjin.

Seokjin huffed, "It could be a prank call."

"Yeah, no. Sure." Hoseok sat beside Seokjin, "Someone randomly called you and said that they are going to give birth to your fiance's baby. Sure."

"Hoseok!" Seokjin looked at him with teary eyes.

Hoseok felt bad. He cursed himself internally and hugged Seokjin, "I am sorry. We will go to the marriage registrar and wait for him there. If he doesn't come, I will throw a party and you will go shit drunk. And if he comes, I will throw a party where you both can go shit drunk. Okay?"

Seokjin laughed in the hug, "Why do in the end, I end up drunk?"

Hoseok snickered, "Because you deserve it. Now get your ass up and go to sleep. You can't look like this tomorrow."

Seokjin nodded and broke the hug, "Sleep with me?"

Hoseok's face brightened so much that Seokjin thought he might end up blind, "Hell yeah! Cuddle time!"

~

Seokjin wore a black tuxedo and styled his hair back, parting from the middle. He had Hoseok standing beside him with a handkerchief. Because, lord, it was so hot outside. Everything is going wrong. It was supposed to rain today! He wanted to wait outside the building for Jiwon to come so that they could go inside together. Their appointment for the marriage was at 9 o'clock in the morning and it was 8:45 already. Seokjin was sweating because of the heat and anxiety. The call had really got on his nerves.

He sighed and looked at Hoseok, "I hope he comes."

"Oh, he should really come." Hoseok said wiping the sweat, "Or today is his last day."

"Hoseok..." Seokjin whined.

He didn't like the thought of Jiwon not coming. He might just cry then and there. Seokjin sat on the bench that was behind them, followed by Hoseok. As they were in their conversation, a slick black car came and stood in front of the building. The man in it didn't immediately come out. There were bodyguards around his car and a man opened the door. And then came the man. Kim Namjoon, to be more specific. Kim Namjoon, one of the most successful businessmen in entire South Korea. He was a self-made man who had climbed the ladders of success so fast that people thought he had some prior connections. But the truth was that it was just his ability and skills.

Ah, yes. Today was his marriage too. His partner was hidden well from the media and he never let the paparazzi click any pictures of them in public. The people didn't even know the gender of Namjoon's partner. Many said it was a lovely, young girl but most of them were convinced that the partner was a male. Namjoon stood proud and tall. He walked to one of his secretaries to say something. He grumbled something in anger and sat in the car again.

Hoseok sighed, "Ah, to be that life."

Seokjin chuckled, "Don't act like you don't have that much money."

"Yeah, but I don't have tons of people roaming around me," Hoseok whined.

Seokjin chuckled and looked at his watch.

9:05 am.

He didn't come. Seokjin's breath shattered and his eyes became watery.

"Hey," Hoseok tried to calm him by rubbing his back, "Maybe he is late. Don't worry, hyung."

Seokjin sat motionlessly. The tears in his eyes seemed to go back and he became stoic. He sat there like that for three hours before Hoseok held his hand, "It's okay, hyung. Let's go home."

"I will wait for a while," Seokjin said, emotionlessly. "If you want to leave, you can go."

Hoseok stood up and turned to Seokjin, "Hyung... You don't have to wait for that asshole here. In this scorching heat. If he had to come, he would have."

Seokjin looked at Hoseok, "Don't rub my failed relationship upon me. I know what has happened."

Hoseok looked away to control his anger and then when he was calm, he knelt in front of him, "Hyung, I know it is hard. I know. But you will have to take a step forward. Both literally and metaphorically. You can not just sit here."

Seokjin was about to say something when he was interrupted, "I am sorry, but did your partner not show up?"
