Finally Found You.

[Chapter One]

It was another dreary autumn day in the Vegas Hotel, the evening plane was nearing takeoff, and the clocks were striking ten.

Clara glanced out the window, peering at the tall skyscrapers that stood in the city. Apprehensively, she glanced back at the Vegas airport– where a plane sped down the runway, taking off into the air.

Danny would be leaving on the next flight at eleven PM, he'd be flying back to his beloved town of Funky in Orlando.

Clara couldn't bear to see her childhood best friend and crush leave. They had been friends since middle school but unfortunately had to separate after graduating high school because her boyfriend, Nick, had wanted to move to Las Vegas.

"Clara! Stop looking out of the window at the better hotels!" Nick yelled, slamming the door behind him.

"Sorry," Clara drew the curtains back over the windows and sat down on their queen-sized bed.

"You're such a bitch; you're not even full caucasian."

She drew in a breath at the accusation, "sorry."

"All women are motherfucking hating cunts. Y'know what Clara? I would've never dated you if the internet wasn't accusing me of being gay!"

Clara frowned.

"NO! I was not gay, I had not been gay, and even now I have not been gay."

"What about Morgan?"

Nick slapped her across the face. Clara's eyes burned, turning blurry. The force of the slap jolted her back and off the bed. She thinks she was crying, but she can't be sure.

"DON'T TRY ME BITCH! Go lock yourself in the bathroom and don't come out!" Nick roared at her.

Usually, Clara wouldn't have, but today Nick looked a little too sweaty like he had just murdered someone. So Clara scrambled off into the bathroom obediently.

Before closing the door, she saw Nick take his phone out and hit record on his camera. She heard some shaky breaths.

"Hello everyone welcome back to hotel snobbery part three! Toda-"

Clara shuts the door.

Silently, she curls up on the floor and cries.
