"alright students!" mrs. d said, trying to settle down the high school students. "we will be swapping seats today!"
she put students down in there correct spots until she got to me. "lana! sit right here next to owen!" owen ?! oh anyone but him! I glanced over to my bestfriends, abigail and maya and they just gave me a little smirk and winked. my heart pounded as I saw him look at me after sitting down. my friend clara tried to get me to say hi to him but I just flustered up in embarrassment.
it was our lunch break and we all decided to go outside on the courtyard to sit on the blacktop and ate our disgusting cold corn and pulled pork sandwiches. "yo, lana look its owen and gabriel go say hi" Clara said. "no thanks I'm good!" I flustered up and covered my face with my mask. "cmon! it's now or never!" maya said. she and abby grabbed my arms and pulled me up. ava locked me in her arms and dragged me over to owen, whining like a little baby. ava then threw me onto owen, knocking him over like a bowling ball with a bowling pin. my glasses flew off my face and it was akward since everyone was watching the two of us. "i-im so sorry owen!!" I apologized. he hand me my glasses and I just ran off without a second thought in my head, just to get away.
