The Quiet One

AN: Before I begin, I just want everyone to know that I'm gonna do fanfictions from my own mind now. I'm giving up on prompts and I'm doing stories and fanfics all on my own. I chose to do this thanks to some pep talk from very very good friends of mine. And I thank them for it.😊So, without further ado, here's a Highschool DxD story that'll crossover with 'Devilman' a little bit. Enjoy😊

In a place called Kuoh Town, a lone boy with brown hair and golden yellow eyes wearing a high school uniform was walking down the street passing by his neighbor's houses, the usual cat sleeping on the wall and even old ladies having their usual gossip. He ignored them as he kept walking while reading his book. After walking a few miles, the boy named Issei Hyodou arrived at his school, Kuoh Academy and he walked down the path passing by his classmates and not interacting with them.

His school used to be an all girls school, but after the school board made some decisions, they finally allowed boys to attend. Before other boys could attend, the school board decided to do a trial run using only four boys first for the year before they could have other boys attend. Issei is one of the boys who was chosen along with three others. Now, in another life, Issei would've been ecstatic to be in a school full of girls.

However, Issei has no qualms for girls or anyone for that matter; not after what happened when he was just a little kid. Anyway, as Issei was walking and reading, he passed by some girls who were calling out if anyone wanted to join the kendo club or the archery club. He didn't have any care on joining any of those clubs or any club for that matter. Ignoring the girls around him, Issei got inside the school, switched his outdoor shoes to his inside ones and walked upstairs to the second floor since he's a second year.

Once he arrived at his classroom, the bell rang and classes have started. During the first class, Issei took notes that the teacher wrote on the blackboard and consulted looking in his textbook during the lesson. It was then that a little drop of water hit Issei's notebook and it made him stop writing. He felt his face and realized that it was wet and he thought, why am I crying now? I don't want to think of that memory now. The teacher stopped writing looked at Issei and asked, "Mr. Hyodou, is everything all right?"

Issei put on a fake smile the best he could and he told her that he was. After two more lessons, it was time for lunch. A few girls were chatting together getting ready to hang out in their usual lunch spot when one of them said, "Hey, let's invite one of the boys in our class to join us."

One of her friends rolled her eyes and said, "Are you serious? No way!"

"Yeah. I wouldn't go near them with a five foot pole," the other friend said.

The second girl added in, "And besides, Matsuda and Motohama are creeps. They will take every chance they can to peek under our skirts or look down our blouses. Couple perverts."

The first girl looked over to Issei and saw he didn't leave his desk yet and was reading the same book he was reading when he arrived at school. She then asked while motioning to him, "What about Issei?"

The two girls looked at Issei and they got skeptical in an instant. The second girl looked at her friend and said, "I don't know. I think it's best we stay away from Issei."

The third one nodded and said, "Yeah. He may not be a pervert, but he does seem...sketchy."

Confused by what her friends meant, the first girl asked, "What do you mean exactly?"

"Well, think about it. He doesn't talk to anyone. He's not a part of any clubs. He doesn't have any friends. There's all sorts of rumors going around school about him," the second girl said.

The third one nodded in agreement. She then said, "I heard someone say that Issei is abused by his parents and he doesn't want to talk about it."

The second girl said, "I heard he's the illegitimate child of a yakuza boss and he had his tongue cut out so he wouldn't speak about their deeds."
