I shivered from the breeze that passed around my small frame, the bitter coldness of winter was getting to me. My right hand pulled out of my harm jakets poket pulling my coat together more then it already was, I ziped it up more then put my hand back. The coldness making me shiver once more before doing so. I had to pull out my hand again to unlock the door to the small cafe where I have been working at for a while now.

I unlocked the door, the heat hitting my face, blowing my dark brown hair back, my green/blue eyes scaning over the colors of the small building. I smiled, I'm always the first one in, and the last one out. Everytime I work. I've been out of school for about two days now for christmas break. Though it took some time getting used to, but I love sleeping in. I closed the door behind me. I walk to the back room while taking off my coat and hanging it on the rack by the back door. My hands fell to my sides as I went back up to front door, I turned the sign around to where it says 'open'. I fliped on the little swich by the window turning on the lights. The door opened, the cold hitting me, I turn around to see my boss lily walking in, shes in her 60s and I love her. She's like a mom to me, and shes very nice.

-An hour later-

Theres been about five customers, I can already tell, today is going to be slow, though, it is only 7 in the morning on a sunday. I love working on sundays, I get to pick all the music while I work to. I smiled to my self. Thirty minutes passed before another customer walked in. I was reajusting the little pies we set on the conter. My ears rung wiht the sound of boats walking to the front conter where I'm standing. I smile, looking up my eyes are met with beautiful purple ones. "Hello, welcome to lily's cafe how may I help you?'' I asked as he smiled at me, his smile was more then happy, he was a troll, I mean duh, his horns gave it away right when he walked in. His horns where long, and ponity, they curved in the middle and then go straight up, huh, I've never seen that before, he must be a high blood."umm, I would like a little pie and a soomthy please" His accent was soooo cute, it made me blush. "Ok, coming right up" I smiled at him while I turned around, bitting my lip I giggled to my self, my cheeks bruning even more when I turned around again to see him wink at me. I took the pie and the smoothy up to him, I reached out to hand it to him, he met me half way. His hands brushing aginst mine. I felt this little.......spark. It was weird.

I blushed more, "Uhh, umm, t-t-the total is $4.20, sir" I stutered out taking my hands away from his big, and slightly cold ones. "Ok motherfcker, here ya go lil'mama." He said handing me the cash. I smiled. "The names Kurloz, honk." He said, smiling at me before turning around and walking out

~Seven hours later~

"Goodbye lily!!" I said as I walked out fo the small cafe. It wasnt as cold as it was this morning, giving that it was around 2 in the afternoon. I made my way to my red little car, unlocking, and opening the door, I got in. Off to home I go.
