In the library at Beacon, both RWBY and team JNPR as well as Y/N. Team RWBY were all gathered around one table playing some sort of card game, Y/N stood behind Yang trying to figure out how on Remnant this game was played. Team JNPR on the other hand were occupying themselves differently and doing stuff you would expect in a library, Pyrrha was reading Jaune's comic book that she had just taken from him since he was supposed to be studying, Nora was fast asleep and Ren was reading a book.
Ruby: Alright... Yang Xiao Long, prepare your kingdom for battle!
Yang: Bring it on!
Ruby: I deploy the Atlesian air fleet!
Yang: *gasp*
Ruby: Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursa and attack your walls directly!
Yang: *gasp* You fiend!
Ruby: And since Atlas is part of Mantle, my repair time is only one turn.
Yang: Hahahahah... pretty sneaky sis, but you've just activated my trap card!
Ruby: Whaaaaaaaaa!
Yang: Giant nevermore! If I roll a seven or higher, Fatal Feathers will slice your fleet in two.
Ruby: But if you roll a six or lower, the Nevermore will turn on your forces.
Yang: That's a chance I am willing to take. *rolls* HAH!
Ruby: NOOOO, MY FEARLESS SOLDIERS!
Yang: Eh, most of them were probably androids.
Ruby: Goodbye, my friends... you will be avenged.
Yang: Not until I draw my rewards, which are doubled this round, thanks to the trade route in Mistral.
Ruby: BAH!
Yang: Oh! And what's this? The smugglers of wind path?!
Ruby: BAH! BAH, I SAY!
Yang: Looks like I'm taking two cards from your hand!
Ruby: HAVE YOU NO HEART?! (crying) Noooo...
Yang: Well Weiss, it's your turn!
Weiss: I have... absolutely no idea what's going on.
Y/N: I am with you on this one sis, I am at a complete loss.
Yang then scoots over to Weiss and looks over her cards.
Y/N: I swear you aren't supposed to look at the other players' cards. That is like the one thing about this game that I have managed to figure out.
Yang: Look! It's easy! You're playing as Vacuo, which means all Vacuo-based cards come with a bonus!
Weiss: That sounds dumb.
Yang: See... you've got sandstorm, desert savage-- oh, oh! Resourceful raider! See now if you can take Ruby's discarded air fleet-
Ruby: (crying) Nooooo....
Yang: -- and put it in your hand.
Weiss: Okay...?
Yang: And since Vacuo warriors have an endurance boost against natural hazards, you can use sandstorms to disable my ground forces and simultaneously infiltrate my kingdom! Just know that I will not forget this declaration of war.
Weiss: And that means?
Ruby: (crying) You're just three moves away from conquering Remnant!
