Sitting down in the chair doing her hair and makeup and doing the final touches of her wedding that was 20 minutes away, Casey Hamilton stared at her reflection in the mirror. She looked back at the times before her wedding. She never in a million years would have thought or even dreamed that all this would have happened. She never thought she would have fallen in love with a man she was yet to marry in 20 minutes and she never thought she would be saying THE VOW. The vow she had written as a little girl after her parents had gotten married. She wrote them and decided that she wanted to say those words when she was getting married in the future. She had dreamed of a perfect wedding when she was a little girl. Having on the prettiest makeup, the best hairstyle, the perfect shoes and the perfect dress and most importantly, marrying the perfect man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. And all this was happening now and she couldn't believe it was. Casey's life was'nt easy. Even though her parents were rich, she still was'nt happy, until she met HIM. The man that had changed her life forever. The man that had made her unspeakably happy, the man who made her heart skip a beat every time she saw him and the man whom she fell head over heels in love with. He is Matthew Walker.

Matthew himself could not believe he was getting married to a perfect woman. He has loved her since the moment he set eyes on her and he knew that someday she would become the future Mrs.Walker. That someday was today and he was happier than a man who just won the lottery. While he waas putting on his tux, all he could think about was his soon-to-be bride. Her beautiful olive skin, her dark brown curly hair, her bright and beautiful hazel eyes and the captivating power of them that made him love her even more. She had nice curves, a flat stomach and beautiful long legs. She was not only beautiful on the outside, but she was on the inside too. She was smart, funny, intelligent, kind, caring, loving and she was his. He kept thinking he was the luckiest guy in the world to have found his soul mate, Casey Hamilton.

It was almost time for the wedding to begin. Just 5 more minutes. Both Matthew and Casey were nervous but they wanted to be happily married more than anything. Everyone was seated in the church, some looking elegant and fanning themselves daintily with their programmes while some were so overjoyed and overwhelmed that they started crying. Matthew took his place, waiting at the altar for his beautiful bride with his brother ,who was his best man, beside him. He looked at the clock, only a minute to go.

Standing behind the wooden doors of the big and beautiful church, Casey started thinking about Matthew. How he smelled like apples and honey. How his brown hair looked messy but she loved it. His beautiful dark brown eyes that looked deep into her soul and his beautiful pink cherry lips that she longed to kiss. She loved the way he always included her in his plans, wanted to go everywhere with her and to do everything with her and the way he hugged her in his muscular arms like he would never let go. It was not until her father looped his hand through hers that she heard the music starting and realized it was time. 'Here Comes The Bride' was the tune of the organ playing. Then, the big doors were open and she was marching up the altar, with her dad, ready to be married. She looked at the people to her left and smiled and looked at the people to her right and smiled. She looked up at the ceiling then at her bridesmaids, who looked beautiful in their blue dresses. Then she saw him, Matthew Walker. Her heart skipped a beat and she went numb. But, he saw her looking at him and smiled. That smile reached the bottom of Casey's heart and she continued up the aisle. The song ended and there she was standing in front of Matthew, holding his hands and looking into his eyes. Ready to say the vow.

Chapter 2

Every fairy tale has a happy ending, but every fairy tale has to start somewhere. Matthew and Casey were not best friends who fell in love, they weren't high school sweethearts who got married. No, it was destiny that brought them together. That destiny brought them together in a coffee shop in New York City.

Casey was running late and her boss needed her morning latte. She went inside the coffee shop and ordered the latte. She waited impatiently as the lasy with the name tag, Cindy, took her own sweet time with the latte. With her patience wearing away by the second, Casey couldn't take it anymore.

"Would you hurry up, Cindy?"

The woman just looked at Casey and continued her work. When she was finally done, she called out the name.

"Ca-Cas-Ca"

"It's Casey and here I am" said Casey. The lady handed her the latte and Casey paid the money. She checked her watch and looked at the time. "Oh great, I'm 20 minutes late, again, and it's only my second day on the job" said Casey to herself. "Could I be any later?". Well, she spoke too soon. Just as she stepped out of the coffee shop, she bumped right into someone, spilling the hot latte over herself and the person she bumped into.

"I'm sorry" explained Casey while taking up the cup off the ground. "It's just that I'm late for my job and I wasn't looking where I - - -" she was cut off when she looked into the man's eyes. She just stared at him, she couldn't even say a word.

"No, I'm sorry" said the man.

"It's my fault, I wasn't looking where I was going. Please let me get you another cup of coffee" offered the kind man.

"No, it's okay" said Casey with a sigh.

"It doesn't matter". Silently she hoped that he would just say 'okay' and disappear so she could just go on with her day and go to work.

"I'm Matthew by the way, Matthew Walker" introduced the man with an outstretched hand. Casey took it and said "My name's Casey". They stood there in silence staring at each other, still holding hands, for about a minute when Casey broke the silence.

"Well please excuse me. I have to get going to the Museum of Art. It was pleasure meeting you and I'm sorry about the little accident", said Casey.

"Really? The Museum of Art?" asked Matthew. "I was just on my way there".

"Well, maybe we could walk together since we're both headed the same place", suggested Casey.

"Okay, that would be great". From that moment on, something was bound to happen.
