The next day Levi was assigned a job, he didn't know exactly what, but he was told to go to the ovens, he thought he was going to have to cook, but when he got there he saw bodies, and charred bones, he then saw someone put a body in one of the ovens, and he smelled the horrible smell he smelled when he first arrived, he then realized that the smell was the smell of burning human flesh. His job was to take the remains to a mass grave, he did this over and over again, until it was time to go back to the barracks. He learned that day that jews that were too weak to work or couldn't work were taken to a gas chamber where they suffocated, and then they were taken to the ovens to burn. He felt disgusted and terrified. That day someone gave him 5 twenty cent euro coins and he gave Liam the quarters. "Thanks." Liam said, "You're welcome." Said Levi, Liam put the coins in his shirt pocket.
