Chapter 9 The First Encounter

The second semester has start and also it is almost spring so all the student gather in the room for instructions.
"Well class this will be our new semester I wish all of you will be the same as always." Sakuraba-san said.
Then the student chat again but except Seira, she look to the window and had a long sigh.
"Seira... (Trying to get her atension) *pout* oi Seira!" She shout.
"(Surprised) w-wha... What? (And she saw her friend chirou-chan who look really pissed) w-whats wrong?" Seira asked.
"I'll be the one who ask you that? You been sighing all the time what's with you?" Chirou asked.
"(Back to her sad face) I-i think Yuki is angry?" Seira said.
"Wait why did you say that his angry?" Chirou asked.
"Because... Because when I went to his apartment and he looks really pissed and he get annoyed without knowing what his thinking... (Then she look to her friend with a weird face she made) w-what's with that face?" Seira asked.
"... ... You went to his apartment!?" Chirou shout.
Then Seira try to hide her mouth but her classmate look at her even Sakuraba-sensei.
"What's wrong?" Sakuraba-sensei asked.
"N-not really ... He he he... Don't mind us sensei sorry for the huge fuse." Seira said.
Then the student went back to their what they do.
"Sheesh! Don't just scream like that." Seira said.
"Sorry I was a bit surprised that all." Chiyou said.
"*sigh* what should I do he is really angry... Maybe I should talk to him... I cant .... Ugh!" Seira said.
Chiyou who look at her then she speak.
"You... (Seira look at her) you like Yuki don't you?" Chiyou said in a blunt.
"E-eh! .... *blushed* i... I don't know..." Seira said.
"Then you do like him." She said it blunt.
Before she could react *rattle-rattle* Yuki, who went to infirmary came back.
"Oh..."
"I guess I should go back to my seat." Chirou said.
Yuki went to his seat as the student still chit chat then suddenly announcer talk.
"All student come down to the auditorium for the opening ceremony... Again... All student come down to the auditorium for the opening ceremony."
Then Sakuraba-sensei stood up
"OK guys please form a line outside all girls this side (left) and boys in this side (right)." Sakuraba-sensei said.
Before they left Yuki who look troubled stare at Seira then as they walk Yuki stop Seira and they both went out other student saw them but they were all surprised.
"Y-Yuki? ..." Seira call his name but Yuki still keep on walking at the rooftop Yuki stop and he let go.
"What's wrong?" Seira asked.
".... .... .... Something... .... Give .... ....you..." Yuki murmured.
"What?.... Did you say something?" Seira asked.
Yuki sigh and turn look at her.
"I said turn." Yuki said.
"Why?" Seira asked.
Yuki grab Seira and turn her around.
"Eh! What are you doing?" Seira asked.
Then suddenly a red pendant suddenly appeared at her face and she already wear it.
"This is?" Seira curiously asked.
Yuki walk away and he stop at the front of the door.
"Just keep it safe... I don't want to lost it.... It is my mother precious necklace because someone dear to her gave it to her." Yuki explained.
Yuki went back as Seira who quite surprised but in her heart it made pound more that she expected and a smile shown to her face.
"Well even though he only want me to protect this I'm a little bit of happy. *smile*" Seira thinks.
Seira stop imagining things because the the bell rung and it is the ceremony begins she run as fast as she can then without notice she bumb into someone.
"Ow! ...."
"Are you alright?" The man said.
The man gave his hand to Seira so that she could get up.
"Oh! .... Yes I'm sorry I didn't saw you sir I was panicking because that bell is for the ceremony I was focus on running to go back and I didn't see you (she bow) I'm really sorry!" Seira said.
"Its alright I was going to the same as you are to the auditorium and I think I was lost." He said.
Seira quite a bit curious so she look up and she saw a handsome man smiling and made her heart skip a beat.
"Who... Who could he be?" Seira thought.
Then she realize that she look some what familiar but she didn't know who then she stood up.
"I'm Hanabe, Seira and you must be a teacher Mr. ... "Seira said.
"Oh! I'm sorry.... I'm Saito, Yakumo I'll be your teacher in Math." Yakumo said.
Ah! I see then this way Saito-sensei." Seira said.
Seira walk Yakumo until they get to the the auditorium and suddenly.
"Yakumo!" Someone call.
The man run and breathing heavily as he tried to catch his breath he look at Seira.
"G-geez! Where have you been?" He asked.
"Ah! Gotou bear were you looking at me sorry... Sorry I was lost *grin*" Yakumo said.
"Will you stop calling me Gotou bear I'm not a bear." Gotou-san said.
Yakumo smile at Gotou-san and Seira felt little weird to them.
"Somehow it feel like I'm watching comedian." Seira thought.
As she walk away Yakumo noticed her.
"Oh! Thank you by the way." Yakumo said.
Seira stop and she turn around and smile.
"D-dont worry about it I'm glad I could help you Sensei... See then." Seira asked.
Yakumo couldn't believe what he saw he grab Seira and she turn and when he see closely the pendant his eyes for bigger.
"Why do have that pendant?" Yakumo asked.
Seira look quite surprised
"W-well... That is.... My friend told me to take care of this pendant and also this from her mother." Seira said.
"(Surprised) mother!... (Seira nod)." Yakumo said.
Then he realize that Seira quite don't understand at all made her to panicked a little bit.
"(He let go) I'm sorry I made you scared I was a bit surprise to that pendant well then why don't you to go back to your classmate they might worry about you." Yakumo said.
Seira bow her head and went on.
"Did you manage to see who would killed those students?" Gotou asked.
"Yeah! ... But we need more clue to get the criminal." Yakumo said.
Yakumo keep staring to Seira even though she already went inside. At the auditorium Seira walk slowly as she went to her line and Chiyou who look worried turn around.
"Where have you been?" Chiyou asked.
"Sorry... Sorry I bump to a new teacher." Seira explained.
When her other student heard it they gather to around to Seira.
"Ne! What they look like?" Student girl1 asked.
"Are they handsome?" Student girl2 asked.
Then more and more student rush to her, she could not say anything because  she don't know who would she answer first then Sakuraba-sensi stop them.
"(Lower her voice) girls! Please get back to your line because it is almost time." Sakuraba said.
All the girls who gather to asked about the new teachers made Seira escape from the wild animals and she sigh in relieved.
"You alright? (Seira nod) well you know your classmates they just want to know what they looks like." Sakuraba-sensei said.
Then Seira notice.
"Ah... Just like you sensei." Seira said.
"(Surprised) eh! .... (Look away) m-ma na!.... (Seira stare to Sakuraba-sensei) *blushed* p-please don't stare me like that.... (She notice Seira's necklace) Hanabe-chan that..." Sakuraba-sensei asked.
Sakuraba-san pointing to her necklace.
"This... (Sakuraba-san nod) well... You see it just that someone want me to take care of his pendant it is not mine really it just for keep sake that all." Seira said.
"Hmm.... I just saw this to someone before... That don't remember really but it seems I remember that person who always smiling and it made me decided that I want to become a teacher too (she smile then the chairman asked the student to seat to their seats) oh! I guess I need to go back." Sakuraba-sensei said.
Seira look to her sensei as she hold the pendant and she sat down then she notice Yuki who seat at front then she remember earlier and made her blushed Chiyou, who sit becide Seira chuckle then the chairman talk.
"Well class welcome to second semester and also I welcome you to your new teachers." Chairman said.
Then he called the two teachers when they walk toward the stage Yuki who didn't listen who woke up because the girls scream when they saw the teachers then Yuki look up and when he saw the familiar face he stood up Seira who cheer suddenly look to Yuki who made a strange face and suddenly Yuki walk away to his seat Seira notice it and run after him outside the auditorium Yuki walk fast Seira try to catch up to him and grab his shirt and for the first time Yuki made a angry face Seira let him go.
"S-sorry..." Seira said.
Then Yuki  loosen up and he sigh.
"I'm the one who said sorry for scaring you like that." Yuki said.
"N-no...! Its not ... I was just a bit surprised that's all because it just the first time youade that kind of expression that why I was worried and followed you... So .... Sorry... I talk to much." Seira said.
Yuki lean and sigh then he slide down and hang his head down
"Y-Yuki?!... Are you alright? Or is it your eye again oh no wait here I'll go grab some water." Seira said.
Before she could walk away Yuki grab her hand.
"Y-Yuki?!" Seira said.
"I'm alright...." Yuki said.
"I see... You worry me right there... *phew* then I'll be staying here for a while then." Seira said.
Seira smile and sat down beside Yuki and Yuki look turn his face away then both of them became silent then Yuki broke the silent.
"That man... (Seira look at Yuki who look serious) who wear glasses do you know him?" Yuki asked.
"Oh! Him well yeah! I bump him earlier ... Why so sudden you asked?" Seira asked.
"Do you know his name?" Yuki asked.
"Well he said Saito, Yakumo.... Why?" Seira asked.
Yuki stood up and and look up.
"He is my biological father." Yuki said.
Seira who sat down stood up.
"Eh! ... H-he ....he is your father?" Seira asked.
Yuki who look up suddenly look at her and put his hand to her head and pat it.
"Yeah he is... But never thought he disguised himself as a teacher and also I never expecting like this.... This is troublesome." Yuki said.
Seira stop Yuki for patting her head and as she hold Yuki hand.
"What do you mean disguised... Youean his not a teacher?" Seira asked.
"(Yuki nod) he's a detective especially that man who call himself also a teacher." Yuki said.
"You mean the man name Gotou-san is also a detective." Seira said.
Yuki nod and he sigh again and he touch the necklace.
"Seira... (Seira, who look surprised when Yuki suddenly hold the necklace look at him even though she felt herself blushing) would you go out with me?" Yuki asked.
