(Act 2 - Chapter 6) Broken Trauma

February 16th, 2034 - 1402 Hours - URF Lagos Military Facility, Territory of Lagos

A week since Ethan's death, Lucas was given time to rest and recover. He checks his strength a few times, seeing it recover at a descent pace.

Once he's healthy and ready, he's back in his Combat Armor. He makes his way to the Facility's War Room, entering as several Officers are awaiting him. He removes his helmet, placing it under his armpit.

Lucas: "Colonel Lucas on duty" he says

Imari's hologram sits at the end of the table, nodding as he turns to Eliven. He motions for him to begin, who nods in return. A map of Borno Province and surrounding cities appear, sitting on the table as military elements appear.

Eliven: "With the news of Ethan's death spreading, the weaken Militia Forces retreated further. Allowing our Troops to expand deeper, gaining ground as they fall back" he says

Seth: "Small issue with that, Ici escaped. Luckily without the child, but she's at large once more" he says

Fred: "So what are you proposing?" He asks

Seth and Eliven turns to Lucas, who sets his helmet down on the table.

Lucas: "Gather two squadrons, have the Hornets equipped with Electronic Jammers. Then the Interceptors will be equipped with Smart Bombs, same with the Hornets" he says

Imari (Call): "Tactical Airstrikes, why?" He asks confusingly

Lucas: "Our troops have been slowed too many times, extending this war further. While we could handle it, Nigeria is still damaged since 2024. We need to cut off Militia Command structures" he advised

Imari nods in agreement, seemingly pleased with his plan. He pulls out his tablet, relaying orders for the Air Corp.

Eliven: "We can have the Air strikes go deep inside their territory, but close by, Operatives have to be send in to silence them" he says

Imari (Call): "I can see where this is going, Viper Corp will lead the charge to break them, right?" He asks

Lucas and his Officers nod in agreement, much to Imari's annoyance. But he accepts the request and set a date, making it a a few days from now.

Imari (Call): "If this can end the war, I'll take the option. I have 1st and 2nd Viper Battalion, who will be using heavy ordnance, to make the break through. Seth, you're in charge of Ground assault. Eliven, you'll assist the Airborne Operatives. Lucas, you're in charge of the front" he says

All men agrees as Imari ends the call, disappearing as the room darken. Seth turns to Lucas, tapping the Colonel.

The three men exited the War Room, with Lucas putting on his helmet.

In Maiduguri, Ici paces back and forth. Hearing the death of Ethan had bothered her, but she pushed yhrough the grief. She has command of the Rouge Abrizhouian Forces, who has a strength of only 20,000 and so few heavy vehicles.

The F-16C Fighters she was able to save can assembled into two Squadrons, fewer than the squadrons the URF/Nigerian Alliance hold.

Luckily, Jacka was able to save her own three squadrons of Su-27 Fighters and a squadron of MIG-29s.

Speaking of Jacka, she notices that she's been meeting with mysterious people. However, it became less frequent as time goes on.

She walks towards the door, heading outside as she looks to the sky. She notices that the common Allied Airstrikes seemed to stop, wondering if they're gaining an advantage.
