"Xingqiu, what are you writing?" asks Ganyu, curious. The blue haired boy scribbles something down, before jerking his head up in response. "Well, I'm going to trust you guys with this little thing. Do you know Albedo?" asks Xingqiu. "Uhh, I've definitely heard that name somewhere... oh yeah, that really clever alchemist who hails from Mondstadt, right? Zhongli mentioned meeting him when some students from Mondstadt came to his school," exclaims Ganyu.
"Yup, that's him! But beyond his impressive alchemy skills, he's also an incredibly talented artist. We were talking, and he was willing to illustrate for me!" giggles Xingqiu.
"Illustrate? For what?" asks Chongyun. "I'm writing a book! Under a pseudonym, of course, and it's been a dream of mine to publish a book someday," he says, smiling.
The entire table goes silent, as everyone gapes at Xingqiu. "Publish a book! At 15? Woah, Xingqiu, you definitely must have the funds for it, no?" asks Keqing. "Of course. Being the son of such a highly esteemed group such as the Liyue Commerce Guild does come with such advantages," he replies, smug. "Isn't Xing amazing?" asks Chongyun, hugging his boyfriend, causing him to go red. "A-Anyways, I hired Albedo to do the illustrations for me, because he is really good at that," he replies, stuttering.
"What's going to be your pseudonym?" ponders Xiangling. "Hmm, I'm not really sure. I was thinking of perhaps Zhenyu for publications in Liyue, and Chenqiu for publications elsewhere. Yes, Chongyun, I basically called my pen name somewhat of our alternative ship name, but it also has a cool meaning: to submerge into. I think it would be cool if readers could really sink in and get immersed into this book," he giggles.
"That's a cool concept. Speaking of which, what are you going to name your book?" asks Keqing. "A Legend of Sword," replies Xingqiu swiftly.
Chongyun peers over at his paper and tries to read something.
"Amid a sa- sea of strs- is that an a? - stars that spin in re-revor-," says Chongyun, trying to desperately read his boyfriend's handwriting. "Hm, my handwriting has never been top - notch," sighs Xingqiu, before reading it himself.
"Amid a sea of stars that spin in reverse, light-centuries of war unfold down on the planet's surface... With this grandiose opening comes an all-new tale of gallantry! That was a little introduction," he exclaims. "Ooh! That sounds good," chuckles Chongyun. "Thank you, my liege," says Xingqiu, smirking as Chongyun's ears go crimson and the boy looks down. "Yunyun has always been particular to my, how do you put it; fancier nicknames," chortles Xingqiu.
"Truly," mutters Chongyun, as his friends giggle at his antics. Xingqiu whispers something into the exorcist's ear, and much to his delight, he goes completely red as Xingqiu playfully slaps him on the back.

1 week later
Keqing is at Ganyu's house and the two are watching videos on Ganyu's bed, as Keqing giggles at the antics of the streamer the two are watching, she glances to see Ganyu's reaction and is left in shock when the girl was bent over, shaking.
"Yu? Yuyu? Ganyu!" she exclaims, trying to force the qilin's head up so she could see what was going on. After a moment, Ganyu relents and does it herself, and Keqing froze in place when she saw tears falling out of the qilin's iridescent eyes. "Oh Ganyu, what is it..." mutters Keqing, as she hugs Ganyu, patting her slowly. "...L- Last night," starts Ganyu, before a fresh stream of tears tumble out of her eyes.
"It's okay, take your time to speak," reassures Keqing. "B-Beidou... she broke up with me. She's moving all the way to Liyue Harbor, and told me it was t...too hard for her to have a long - distance relationship with me," says the qilin, her voice shaking with every word.
Keqing fiercely hugs Ganyu and pats her back.
Beidou's... going to get out of Ganyu's life.
Just like Keqing wanted.
Then why does she feel so guilty about it, like it was her fault Beidou had to move cities?
"Yu, I promise, it will get better. You still have me here. I'll look after you, and even if I can't understand the sentiment of losing a girlfriend, I hope I can provide some sort of support," whispers Keqing, hugging her best friend.
"Thank you, Qing," says Ganyu, wiping her tears and putting on a smile. "Do you wanna see what she sent me?" she asks. "If it's comfortable with you, then sure," chuckles Keqing. "Look," says Ganyu.

Ganyu 🌷
...
Bei-Dough 🥐
just so you know i didn't choose to, my parents think i'll get a better education there and most of our relatives live there too
Ganyu 🌷
so what about this is hard to say? ... we can still keep a relationship, right?
it's not like you're moving to a whole different country or anything, you'll still be in liyue
Bei-Dough 🥐
i'm just not very comfortable with long - distance relationships, they feel so fragile and so many misunderstandings happen
i think i'd prefer if we broke up, honestly
Ganyu 🌷
... I need some time alone, Beidou.
Bei-Dough 🥐
that's fair. hope you feel better soon.
"Well, I guess she told you instead of just disappearing," mutters Keqing. "I guess so. I'm still taking it all in; she messaged me this out of nowhere... but it feels like she doesn't care a lot about our relationship. Suppose that's why she kissed me before she needed to go. This really felt like it'd be a long time thing, if I'm honest," says Ganyu.
"Yeah..." replies Keqing. She was genuinely sad for the qilin, and felt remorse for her.
"Moving on won't be easy, but I'm sure you can do it!" says Keqing optimistically, as Ganyu chuckles at her.
