The cool autumn breeze whistled through the pavilions of the country's most beloved tower, bringing genuine smiles on the faces of the tourists, who were mostly couples that sank deep in love, coming over to the tower to immortalize their fondness by adding a padlock of their love to the big pile of numerous love locks adorning the railings of the Namsan tower.
On one of the such cold railings, now hidden under the other locks of different colors, hangs a cute lock with a deer sticker on it, accompanied by a neat handwriting housing the words dipped in love,
"to my deer-like angel, who entered my life like a whiff of cool refreshing air on a deadly hot day, let's make our love a never ending saga. Considering myself the luckiest man alive to have the privilege to be the one asking you this, your own little baozi makes a demand,
Marry me?"
The neat handwriting on the lock was followed by a broken one, stating a big fat
"Y.E.S"
On that beautiful spring evening when this lock was tied to its current spot, Namsan tower pavilions became an audience to a yet another marriage proposal that was accompanied by tears of happiness and a passionate kiss exchanged by a couple who was ready to do anything for the sake of each other.
It was on that very evening that Kim Minseok and Lu Han made a promise to stay by each other's side for eternity.
And it was that very promise that failed to be fulfilled and got broken into a million pieces soon after it was made.
It was that very baozi who left his deer.
And it was that very deer who forgot his baozi.

In that moment of love, none of them knew that they would also just vanish from each other's lives exactly like that very whiff of air.
