Chapter 1

Today is the day. I am officially a university student, do people get excited for this? I don't know but what i know is that this is a dream come true for me and i can't wait to see and experience the university life.

I get up from bed and quickly go into the bathroom to take a quick shower.
After that, I tie up my braids  and do my edges,then i start applying make up, i don't really apply alot- that would attract alot of attention on my first day and i don't want that to happen,so i stick with the basics.

My phone start beeping on the bed,
probably my  best friend Esther calling,i quickly pick up,"Girl,tell me you are done,because I will be at your house in 3 minutes and if you are not done I will leave you behind." She says.
"Am done,just getting dressed that's all," I peek through the window and see her car pulling up in my driveway, "you are here already,come inside, it is not locked."

Esther comes inside and I fix her hair and we get into her car. I didn't own a car yet so we made an agreement that she picks me up for school since we will attend the same school and we literally hang out together. The ride to school is 15 minutes long and we found it really short because we were simply catching up on things that we already talked about on the phone.

We already had orientation last week,that i didn't attend.I was just too lazy to go but Esther went so she knew where the computer classes where located.
We had the same major,IT and business. After climbing alot of stairs that got me tired we finally arrived to our supposedly class that was written on the timetable.

The class was full and there was a lecturer inside but all eyes were on us,bad thing about coming late to  class. We finally spotted two empty sits in the middle of the class and sat there. The lecturer then asked us to introduce ourselves and why we choose the major,i hated this part
I thought we left that in high school.
After that was done she left the class and all the other students started murmuring to each other.

The first week of school was actually boring as expected because we were just getting to know each other. Esther actually made a friend from our class, she said her name is Bianca. Esther is an outgoing person,she smiles with everyone and is just soo polite. Then we have me: I literally have that resting face that says "do not approach me" on the first glance that I get and I also don't engage alot with strangers but I am very loud with my friends.

I don't know how I even became friends with Esther,she is  so cool and I am literally the opposite of cool. I love her alot though,because she is very understanding we are always there for each other when we hit our low points in life. Enough about our little life story.

It was the second week of school. We had classes from Monday to Thursday.
I was starting to entaract a little bit with people from our class, and Esther had like 50 friends from the class already. Her first friend she had made here; Bianca was also my friend now. She was really friendly to be around." I really don't understand how people get into them to that point were they literally know most things about them" we were currently discussing about why I and other millions of people like BTS with Bianca, "they are nice people,they are funny and relatable and they love their fans and the most important one is the music,it's literally awesome,like they got songs for every emotion one goes through,you just need to understand the lyrics." I could write a whole essay of why I loved BTS. "How does one understand lyrics when they aren't even in English" "Girl-" I sighed. "Look we are going to continue this later ok, Esther is done sorting out her finance related things so she is already waiting for me at the parking lot so it is time for me to go."

I hurriedly went to the parking lot and found Esther talking with a guy. I reached them and the guy excused himself  before i could even greet him,wierd! "Who is he?" I asked her, " Him?he is  friend  that I made today, he is cute isn't he?" She said with pure admiration for the guy clear in her eyes. "Yeah he is,he left so fast tho."
"He probably knows you or something" We got into the car.
"Me?,known?,girl-  i am invisible,especially to guys"
"You aren't,have you seen yourself and the stares the guys keep throwing at you?ugh I  would die to be in your position mama,you are a beautiful lady and definetly not invisible."
"Okay ,okay I didn't say you must preach" I mocked her.
"Heyy, I am just saying you know,hopefully you get a boyfriend this year,girl you need to live a little" she continued,this was an everyday topic with her,I couldn't avoid it no matter what.

Pheeww i don't know how to feel about this one
The first chapters are always the hardest to write
