Xenia's POV

"I don't know how but everything looks okay. His vitals are stable and his bleeding has stopped" the doctor looked up from his board, "you are very lucky Mr Thompson. The lord is truly on your side. Although everything is fine you still have to take things easy, don't over work yourself, and I would recommend that you exclude yourself from physical activities."

"By physical activities do you mean I can't have" Kieran put his hands together and joins them by the fingers than claps them against each other repeatedly.

"Kieran your parents are in the room" I whispered in his ear but he didn't look like he cared about his parents.

The doctor cleared his throat and tapped the bridge of his glasses. "Yes that is exactly what I mean." Kieran wanted to argue with the doctor but the doctor dismissed himself.

In other words he ran away.

"I'm so glad that you are awake" Mrs Thompson said and kisses Kieran's knuckles. Mrs Thompson and I were sitting on each side of the bed.

Kevin scoffed, "did you really wake up from the dead just because I would expose you second name. Thats just low bro. I cried, I fucking cried."

I wonder what's his second name

"Language Kevin" Mrs Thompson
reprimanded him.

"Why did Nia's uncle shoot you" Mr Thompson asked. He was sitting on a chair with his arms crossed over his chest. Kieran glanced at me with regret in his eyes before turning to his father.

"I cheated on Nia" Kieran confessed and his mother gasped, letting go of his hand.

"But that doesn't mean he should come and shoot you. If you and Nia have problems then thats between you two, not between you two and him you are not in a polygamous relationship. We should press charges against him," Mr Thompson said.

"No we won't press charges," Kieran said firmly.

"Why? Kieran he tried to kill you, in fact let me rephrase that. He killed you but you dodged death?" Mr Thompson asked.

"Xander is Nia's only family and by sending him to jail Nia will have no one. Xander's fiancé Nicole is pregnant with three kids and I don't want to make her a single mom with three kids"

"But he should have thought about that before he shot you"

"I'm not pressing charges and that final dad. Please respect my decision."

Mr Thompson sighed and nodded his head. "What Xander did was wrong but I'm mostly disappointed in you. I didn't raise you to go cheating on your girlfriend Kieran. I'm deeply disappointed in you," Mr Thompson said and headed for the door. "Evelyn, I'll wait for you in the car," he said and left.

"I think we should all go home it is passed midnight after all" Mrs Thompson said and got up from the bed. Kieran looked distraught, he even failed to meet his mother's eyes. "Your friends have already left so we'll leave Kieran to rest. Nia you are more than welcome to stay with us for as long as you want to" she said and I nodded my head. before leaving she gave my hand a squeeze. Kevin followed her. Now it was just me and Olivia in the room.

We both need this talk with Kieran

"I'll wait for you guys outside" Olivia said and left, leaving Kieran and I in an awkward silence.

"So is this the part where we have makeup sex" he said while smirking. Cocky bustard but I understood that he is trying to start a topic.

"The doctor said you should avoid physical activities"
