"And who are you?"

"Get in the damn car, Dawn." I hear my mother yell from downstairs.

"I'm not going to that shit hole." I scream back from behind my bedroom door.

"Language!"

I roll my eyes and jump off of my bed, opening my door and walking downstairs.

I walk into the kitchen and my moms back is to me.

"If you don't come here right now, Dawn Elizabeth," she turns around and stops talking.

"There you are. Let's go." She says smiling, and I roll my eyes again.

Today's my first day as a senior, and I had to move schools because of my dads idiotic job.

So now instead of Oklahoma High, I go to Indiana High.

What the hell name state is that?? (If ur from Indiana ily still)

We walk out of the door, and I jump into the front seat, with my backpack and a coffee.

"You ready?" My mom asks as we pull up.

"No." I say, and I open the door, shutting it hard behind me.

I sigh as I walk up to the double doors, and push open the heavy metal, groaning.

As I open the door, im sent flying into the ground by a tall body.

I look down at my hands and knees for blood and instead of him saying sorry, he laughs.

lauGHS.

"Dickwad."

He just laughs harder.

"You gonna help me up or what?" I ask, and look up to get a better look at this guy.

Holy shit.

He's gorgeous.

Literally. Blue eyes, blonde hair, tall, damn. And that lip ring...

"And who are you?" He asks with a smirk.

"Dawn Elizabeth Peavy, you?" I say, still on the ground.

He offers a hand and I smile.

Finally a common curtesy.

I grab his hand and he starts to pull me up, but when I'm halfway up, he drops me back onto the ground, and laughs some more.

I really think my butt is bruised.

"You'll find out soon." He says with a wink, turning and walking to the parking lot, and driving away.

And I am still on the ground, my mouth wide open.
