You were stood at the back of a crowd standing tall over all the other people trying to spot the only person you cared for, The General, Gorou. Watching as hundreds of Resistance Warriors marched into Watatsumi island, many covered in fresh wounds and dried out blood. Then you spotted him, the person you would take for your own.

You tried to make your way to the front of the crowd to get a better look at the injured soldiers, when at the front you saw only the first of many bodies being carried back to bring to their families. You tried not to smile as you not only saw injured but also dead soldiers being carried, on long durable pieces of fabric, through the parade of people towards Watatsumi hospital. Looking around a lot of peoples facing were covered by their hands obviously to distract from the fact that the Shoguns Army was getting stronger everyday.

All of a sudden, screams could be heard as families were finding out their children had been killed in the war. You pushed past the crowd and rushed to get as close to Sangonomiya Shrine as possible to listen in on the war plan.

Creeping up the path to the Shrine you could start to hear the voices of Kokomi and Gorou discussing where and how to move next. Knowing there would be to many casualties either way you were tempted to run up to the table but something stopped you, Maybe it was the lust to see the peoples bodies being carried through the town but also to see the competition gone as well. At one point in your life you had considered becoming a part of the Resistance but decided against it would've been easier to get to the goal you wanted but overall not worth the risk dying in the process.

Stood behind a pillar, you started to fall tired and had to cut your spying short and started to leave but that was also cut short when a guard of the Shrine caught you "Hey, You!" The guard yelled
"Shit" you muttered
"This isn't the first time I've seen you around here, what do you want" Pointing a spear to you
You swiftly turned on your heel and was on your way without another word.
