A Cheer For my Children

Children listen as I cry and I will explain the reason why.

You think you are the only ones, but I will tell you cause I love you tons.

Mistakes are made by young and old, no matter the mask or the feeling of cold.

People will come and people will go, this is life and how we grow.

Loneliness is all but a lie, if you think hard enough you can give someone a try.

I will never leave you no matter what you do, you are by my side I can count on you too.

I wish I could shield you from all harm, but that is impossible even on a farm.

As you grow and look back on your life, you will see it was worth it in spite of the strife.

I am proud of each of you n all that you have done, with you my life has been so fun.

So I tell you when you are down, remember my love for you and there will be no more frown.
