Simone.
She's all I could think about ever since the ride on my bike. That pretty ass smile of hers ingrained into my mind. The way she smiled excitedly after getting off of the bike made me happy.
Damn her arms felt so good around me.
maybe I should ask her to this event that's coming up?
I was pulled out of my thoughts when I felt my phone vibrating against my lap.
I quickly answered the call after seeing Simone's contact name. "Hello?"
"Hey Ari." I could tell that she was smiling hard.
I could never get over that voice of hers. She always sounded so sexy to me. These past couple of days, she's been the only thing on my mind.
I'd find myself having late night calls with her almost every other night. We'd just be up at night talking.
"Hey pretty. What you up to?"
Travis and Cal's heads snapped in my direction, already knowing who I was talking to on the phone. They both smirked at me before turning back to the game.
I got up from the living room and walked into the kitchen so they wouldn't be in my face.
"Nothing much. I just got back from doing a photo shoot with the foundation."
"You have fun?"
"Not really." She sighed irritatedly. "It was boring as hell and not only that my mother kept lecturing me about becoming a doctor once again."
"Damn, tell her to fuck off then." I joked, trying to lift her mood up.
She kissed her teeth before breaking out into a fit of laughs.
"I can't do that, Ari." She responded when her laughing died down.
"Why not? You tried nicely."
"She's my mother and I'm technically on her payroll. Enough about me though. How's your day?" She quickly switches the subject.
I let it slide because I know talking about her parents isn't something she enjoys especially if she's talking about something that they did that made her upset.
"Uhhh, it's fine. Nothin' much has been happenin'. Getting ready to go down to Mexico for a job." I open the fridge and grab another beer.
All I could keep thinking about was me asking her to this casino event that was happening next week. I never brought a date before but damn Simone would be perfect for it.
"Motorcycle club business?"
"Yeah." I answered. "It's nothing major just handling some business.
"Don't be over there all scared for me." I teased.
She kissed her teeth. "Nobody is going to be scared but you."
I chuckled. "Yeah, okay."
"But seriously be safe though." Her tone changed to a more serious one.
Simone isn't dumb, stupid, or slow so I could tell that she already knew what actual business would be going down in Mexico.
"I will."
The line went silent for a moment until I finally built up the guts to ask her. I decided to just blurt the shit out. I shouldn't be this scared to ask anyway.
"It's this casino event coming up. You wanna go with me?"
"Uhhh," she sounded a little hesitant.
"I know April will be there because of Travis." I added in, trying to persuade her.
"You know what sure. I need to get out anyway." She finally decided. "Just let me know when."
"I'll let you know some time this week." I grabbed my beer off of the counter and walked back into the living room my lips curling up into a smile.
We talked for a few more seconds until she had to hang up.
"Mm-mm" Travis shook his head. "Just whipped. Cheesing all hard and everything."
I shook my head at Travis' antics.
"Man you can't even talk. Look how whipped you are for April." I pointed out.
That shut him up real quick. He didn't have anything else to say after that. Cal and I busted out laughing at his reaction.
Travis'll be the main one whipped but will point out how everyone else is like he isn't.
"Ari out here surprising me though. You mean to tell me you took a girl on a ride on your motorcycle and now you're taking her out on a date? Where the hell is the real Ari?" Cal joked.
"It's not even a date. She's a friend and I'm inviting her out to do friendly stuff." I bit back the grin I was holding in.
Maybe it is a date.
"Look at him Trav. He tryna hold back his little blush." He teased.
I chuckled so I could have a reason to stop holding my smile in.
"He ain't get no pussy or nothing, either? A new era must've come for Mr. Hendrix." Travis piped in.
"Man you ain't even let Sarah pasty ass touch your bike but you letting this Simone girl ride?" Cal shakes his head. "Definitely pussy-whipped."
"He wanna have sex with her. That's why." Travis teased childishly.
I narrow my eyes at them.
"Shut up man. Everything doesn't have to be about sex." I glare.
"Alright we're done foreal." Cal says in between laughs.
I shake my head at them.
