Picnic date

It was a long day for Richie and Eddie as they had a test coming up later in the week. The day was finally over and they couldn't wait to get home, as Eddie was leaving Richie came up to him "What's up Eddie Spaghetti" Richie said walking over to Him
"Don't call me that" Eddie replied "make me" Richie responded as Eddie rolled his eyes "I was wondering if you wanted to g-go on a date with me tonight?" Richie asked, Eddie blushed at Richies words "I- um I would love to" Eddie chuckled nervously "what time?" "Does 5:30 suit?" Requested Richie "sure does" "alright then see you tonight beautiful" Richie said leaving a kiss on Eddies cheek before turning the other way towards his house leaving Eddie there shocked.

-Time skip-

Eddie was stressing about what he should wear so he called Bev because well she was his best friend and Bev knew more about fashion than Eddie did. It took 2 try's until she picked up "Hey Eds what's up" Bev said giggling "could you please come over I need help" Eddie said in a kind of worried tone "yea sure, why" she questioned "I will tell you when you get here" He Mumbled "Alright" Bev sighed and hung up the phone. Not long after Eddie hears a knock on the door and runs down stairs to answer it, when he saw Bev he pulled her inside shut the door and ran upstairs with her. "Um so Eds why'd you call me?" Bev wondered
"Well Richie asked me on a date and I don't know what to wear" Eddie said quickly "WHAT HE ASKED YOU ON A DATE" She yelled "yea" he whispered "so what clothes do you have in your closet?" Bev added "go have a look" Eddie said. Bev walked into Eddies closet and came out with two outfits, one was a pair of cute light blue overalls with a light pink shirt and the other one was a white skirt, a white collared shirt and a green sweat shirt.

Bev made Eddie try on both outfits but they liked the green sweat shirt and skirt so he wore that. They looked at the time and Eddie realised he only had 10 minutes until Richie would be there to pick him up, in a rush Eddie did his hair and got ready. Before they new it Richie was at the door, Eddie rushed downstairs and opened the door that revealed a very good looking boy, Richie wore Black ripped jeans, A band tee and a denim jacket that was a bit big for him.

Then Richie took Eddies hand and led him out to the car which smelt of his cologne and cigarettes.
