As I sunk my fur into the cool boulder my body seemed to conform to its shape, the pine forest seemed to be still,as if time it self had stopped for this moment. My grey/ black fur seemed to almost melt into the natural colors of the boulder

The boulder was slanted a bit, perfect me to peer on the larger figure in front of me. As my sea green eyes peered slightly over the tip I locked onto my target.

They're green/ brown camouflage jacket almost blended in with the pine trees that surrounded us, but they're bright blue cap was a dead give away I could see that thing for miles... "puft, stupid Heylings (humans)" I thought to myself.

Even though they had bright white boots that blended into the soft mid-winter snow of Canada that surrounded us I was not fooled, not this wolf.

My eyes fully locked on the back of they're neck I slowly pulled my hind legs upward, pulling my body off of the boulder slightly adrenaline rushed through my body.

My legs tensed and I pushed my body off of the boulder. Aiming high.
