The Distraction (blarry story)

Chapter 12

The reconstrucción of Hogwarts began. McGonagall made a few changes to the design. She turned the slytherin common room into a common area implimenting muggle technology to keep the students entertained,added a long endless room with many dorms so the students wouldn't be separated by houses as to try avoiding anything bad from happening again, and she added magical tables so they only would be separated by houses when the school year began but after thst they became smaller tables and students would sit everywhere.

Harry made it known that not only did his two best friends helped in beating voldemort but it was a thing the whole school did united in the end. He did name the main people that helped Ron, Hermione, Luna, Ginny, Neville, Draco, Pansy and Blaise. Still every newspaper article said it was his doing, except the Quibbler.

He also took Blaise to meet the Weasleys properly. Blaise tried his hardest to get them to like him and to be polite. The Weasleys decided it was best to just accept that Harry was dating Blaise and thst he made him happy. The twins were alright making plans to mess with him though.

Harry began cleaning and decorating grimmauld place, Blaise was more thst happy to help him and train him on what to do so Harry could meet his family. And also convince him to go to therapy.

As for sleeping, they decided to get a dog. It made Harry feel safe around his house and whilst sleeping and it allowed Blaise to also not be so stressed out by his boyfriend.

"Blaise, I don't want to be an auror anymore." Harry said one nice little cozy afternoon.

Blaise nodded comprehensively, "it's understandable. What do you want to do?"

Harry nodded, "I don't know yet."

Blaise smiled, "and that's totally fine Harry. Take your time to figure it out."

Going back to Hogwarts was great. Harry still didn't know what he wanted but he felt like he belonged once he was back in school.

He finally had a normal year without anyone trying to kill him, just stress. Blaise got to be his dorm partner and he couldn't be happier about it. They got to bring their dog since Blaise had payed so it would be trained and wouldn't disrupt class.

Hermione began dating Ron and they looked happier than ever. Ginny also started dating Luna, it was adorable. Slowly they all began hanging out more and more with the slytherins.

Harry sighed happily looking at his friends. Ron, Blaise and Draco were discussing the functions of a blender while Pansy actually asked Hermione about it. Who would have thought that they all finally decided to put differences aside and achieved a form of house unity?

Blaise looked over at Harry and smiled before continuing the interesting conversation of how a blender could be used to cut grass. Harry just laughed as Ron tried to correct them saying it was obviously for something else.

This was going to be an interesting school year.
