Ademar Maddox walked through the marketplace of Caelum observing the stalls carefully. He walked up to a fruit stall labelled "Feldmann Fruits" to get a closer look at the produce. "Lord Maddox!" the man who ran the stall exclaimed, while bowing in honour. "What can I get for you; anything you want. Be my guest!" Ademar thought carefully about this question then replied with
"Three large cloud mangoes please." The man's arms streched like elastic underneath the table he was standing bedind, then his eyes popped out of their sockets and did the same thing.

Shortly afterwards his body parts regained their original state and the man had a plastic bag containing three cloud mangoes in his hand. "Will that be all for today my lord?" asked the man.

Before he had a chance to answer he was suddenly cut off. "Lord Maddox!" shouted a voice from behind Ademar. He swivelled around to see Pierson, one of the servants who was new in the Maddox household, running towards him almost out of breath. "Lady Maddox is in labour," he puffed, collapsing to the ground. As a few shoppers and shopkeepers ran over to poor Pierson, Ademar ran out of the marketplace. Approaching a dead end he effortlessly pulled himself up onto the roof of the house that was blocking his way. Making haste, he jumped from roof to roof heading towards the Maddox Mansion. He was determined to get there. And fast.

Meanwhile, inside Maddox Mansion, Trinity Maddox held the newborn boy in her hands while ignoring her daughter's begs and pleas to see her baby brother. The midwife gently took the baby from the mother and inspected it. "So, what power does he have," asked Dawn, jumping up and down as five year olds tend to do when excited.
"Well..." All of a sudden wooden spliters flew around the room as the door was broken down.
"What did I miss?" Ademar cried. Ignoring her father Dawn continued "Well what Ms Conrad?" "His umbilical cord is a bluey-white," sighed the middle-aged woman. "There has to be some sort of mistake," argued Trinity, still in shock at this statement.
"Sorry malady but the umbilical cord never lies."
"Edna, are you trying to imply that our son is The Blunt,"
"I didn't think it was possible but there's no other explanation."

Without warning, a gust of air rushed through the room and a flash of lighning struck down in front of the door (at least what was left of it). "Greetings, Maddox," cracked a voice, echoing with evil. Ademar turned around to see a man, who looked about fifty, wearing an eyepatch and long leather jacket; two cunning looking men stood beside him.
"Deceptor," Ademar said; a hint of hatred to his voice.
"That's my name, don't wear it out you Caelumian dog!"
"Watch your tounge!" Ademar snapped, bubbling with rage. He unsheathed the sword on his belt and while holding it with both hands told Ms Conrad to hide his son and daughter then get help.
"I see your son has arrived earlier than we expected," Deceptor observed while cackling maaniacly. "You......die......nooow!!" roared Ademar, pointing the sword directly towards the eyepatched enemy.
"I wouldn't be so sure," replied the villain a smirk spreading across his pale face. "Pirates, unite!" Then a stronger gust of air swirled around the room and eight srikes of lightning came out of nowhere then vanished, replaced by six men, one woman and a dark skinned little boy who looked around Dawn's age all armed with steel cutlasses. "Reporting for duty captain!" rang the creed of the pirates. "Trinity take cover!" the Maddox patriarch cried, running at the pirate captain. As he brought the sword down towards the captain's head it's path was blocked by the sharp blade of a cutlass. Almost coliding with Deceptor, Ademar closely dodged his wrinkly, bald cranium with a sommersault that he landed perfectly behind the old man.

Standing straight on his two feet he looked around and suddenly heard a sound like thunder behind him, then it sounded as if two darts were whistling through the air. The sound got closer and closer. Nearer and nearer. And just when it sounded like the whistling was right in his ear he jumped and performed a flawless backflip, as two men, who looked about twenty-five years of age, crashed into the floor right where he had been standing. That was too close, Ademar thought to himself, when two flashes of light appeared about four yards from him on either side.

Then the rapid sound of footsteps came towards him and two cutlasses flew towards him. Without a second thought Ademar stretched out his arms and grabbed the blades of the two vintage weapons, scrunching them up with ease. Throwing them down to the ground, Ademar looked back at his wife who was still sitting on the rug.

As he looked up, he sweeped his dark brown fringe out of his eyes to be greeted by the woman and a man with ginger hair and a van dyke beard. The man swung his cutlass towards Ademar which he thoughtlessly blocked holding the sword in his left hand. The woman pulled out two old fashioned pistols from sheathes around her waist and shot both simultaneously. The shining bullets whistled towards him and without a second thought he lifted up his right hand right in front of his face. The woman's jaw dropped wide open as the bullets bounced of his sinewy palm.

With a swift kartwheel and a flip the woman soared through the air with her leg kicked out. Just before the sole of her black boot made contact with the Ademar's gut the muscular warrior grabbed the foot and flung her across the room.

"Uugh!" exclaimed the woman as her flight was cut short by one of the metal pillars holding up the ceiling. "Kasey!" cried the readhead running over to her and cradling her head in his arms. Then turning towards Ademar, he spat; "You'll pay for this," he muttered under his breath.

Ademar grabbed the redhead by the collar of his leather jacket.

"Pay my foot!" he yelled into his ear then threw him to the ground. Splinters flew everywhere, one getting stuck in the "skull and lightning bolts" tattoo on the bare shoulder of a bulky looking, bald man who had a bushy moustache and was almost double Ademar's size. "Yaagh!!" he yelled, swinging his massive fist straight at him.

Suddenly, volts of electricity started crackling around the fist. Ademar grabbed the fist ready to flip the big bloke over, when a shock of electricity ran straight through his body. The mega, muscular mammoth of a man slapped Ademar right in the chest. He flipped through the air and slammed face first straight into the wall on the eastern side of the room. "Now would you look at that," laughed Deceptor, walking up to where Ademar's body lay, with the strong man on his right and the young boy on his left. "The mighty Lord Maddox reduced to a little-iddy-bitty WEAKLING!!" said the man, his pale forehead wrinkling up more than it already was as he laughed (which slighly disturbed the two pirates beside him). The taunting, babyish voice that the old man made angered Ademar greatly. He slightly opened his left eye, despite the swelling, and gave him an eyeful of resentment. "Finish him Alexander," Deceptor ordered. The boy's face grew into a look of pique, and volts of electricity, much like those that had been around the strong man's fist, crackled around his body.
"My name is Lex. Not Alexander, Lex!" he shouted.
"That's it Alexander, focus all that anger towards our enemy here." The bolts of lightning surrounded him until Ademar could no longer see the little one. A pitch cloud, as dark as ebony, appeared over where the boy's head would have been. "Hit him little man!" said the muscly one.

At that exact momment, the volts gathered into the cloud and rushed out, directly towards Ademar. Before he knew what was happening, Ademar felt like he'd just been stabbed by a thouand knives. "Aaaaaaaaagggghhhhh!" he screamed as he was lifted into the air. "Ademar!" Trinity cried from the other side of the room.
"I'm....alright," he reassured her, while struggling for breath.
"I'm going to save you!" she exclaimed while cupping her hands.
"Don't Rin," he gasped, "You've just given birth you'll kill yourself if you use anymore Vis!"
"Anything for you my love," said the woman, her blonde locks covering the tears that were running down her cheek. Her palms started to light up, as if she were holding the sun. "No Rin.....Dooont!!" Ademar said. "Goodbye Ade," Trinity said through a tearful."By the power of light!" she cried. Then a beam of light shone from her cupped hands and hit the little boy square in the chest. He fell backwards and the tatooed tyrant caught his unconcious body. On the other side of the room, the volts disappeared, and Ademar fell to the ground.

Quickly, the weakened lord, scrambled to his feet and ran over to his wife's limp body. "Wake up, Rin! Wake up!"
