It was the bliss of December. Snow feel down the Heavens, covering the Earth with a pure white blanket. Every winter Hedrick sees pass by Canada, a deep sorrowful feeling washes over him. A day in this blissful winter he shall never forget. Tossing and turning within his king sized bed. He finally straightens up, opening his eyes barley keeping them open. Looks at the clock which counted “8: 30” in the morning. With a heavy sigh, Hedrick rises from bed. Still holding on to the walls to keep balance. Grabs his coat, which laid on its hanger. Puts on his slippers and walks out the door.

A cool December breeze hits him as he walks out his house. Seeing the empty streets on the middle of wintertime makes Hedrick suppurate. Beholding this much snow covering the grounds damages Hedrick profoundly. Bringing back agonizing memories from the past. Memories from his beloved lover he once had, Ellie. Hedrick still did not understand clearly what happened between Ellie and himself. People tell him she died from an accident. That on her way home she got kidnapped and shot. But he would just shrug off all the thoughts away of all the reasons why his lover might have left his side. Hedrick did care about her deeply, but he just could not find her anywhere. He just tried to live on with life and forget the madness within his past. A cold sober life that is.

Hedrick walked his way towards the liquor store and bought a very qualified Vodka. Took a big chug and kept walking outside, trailing footsteps behind. Walking by the city, he passed a occupied park. Where children from all age and sizes ran about, enjoying their lives. With a sight of this, Hedrick smiles to himself. Ellie and I always wanted a child.. With the thought clinging in the air he look around some more. A beautiful crystal blue lake, so Hedrick thought, was icy as it can be. Above his head ducks and birds flew by, departing for the South.

Out of the blue, Hedrick saw a figure. This figure seemed very familiar and friendly towards him. A good vibe washed over him and he walked towards it. Walking towards the benches that laid in front of the park, a strangely well-known back of a head was seen. Now with more confidence Hedrick knew deep within his soul who's back of the head it was. Now close by the figure Hedrick takes a immense gulp of Vodka he still held and confronted the figure. The human body that laid before his eyes astonished him. His mind buzzes the name around, wanting to come out of him, but cannot.

Within his eyes he saw a lovely young woman. Chocolate brown hair that waved about, face pale as the moon was now rosy due to the coldness and a remarkable pair of green eyes. Hedrick curses under his breath and looks around avoiding the sight of her, but just could not.

Finally Hedrick's voice gives up “Ellie?” he asks the figure. The figure kept her eyes locked on the children who swings up into the air. “E-Ellie?” Hedrick asks again. Still no glance towards him. Now frustrated Hedrick drops the bottle of Vodka off his hands and with tremendous force shakes Ellie's delicate shoulders. Her head throbbing back and forth, but still she kept her eyes locked to the children. Breathing furiously Hedrick looks at the children. Seeing why was this woman so interested in small beasts. Ellie's eyes were concentrated much on a young little girl.

She wore an oversized pink jacket that reached till her knees, black leggings, white boots, and a pink and white hat. What Hedrick realized was the little girl's brown hair. It waved about just like Ellie's and had the same pale skin as hers.

Stepping aside, away from Ellie's sight, he looks closer now as the little girl runs towards a man whom was near Hedrick. As the 7 year old ran to her father she threw her arms around his neck and kisses his cheeks. The man smiled and hugged her back. The little girl took a step aside and looked at Hedrick. At this he flinches and observed she had gray eyes, just like his. Brown waved hair, pale skin, gray eyes.. All the pieces seemed to connect now. Why Ellie was looking at this specific young girl.
