Chapter 3.1

Y/n was still sitting next to them, unaware of what was happening. Then slowly, she began to sense their chakra and how great it was. It gave her chills and she shivered. "You two!" Mei shouted, pointing at the two Anbu, "I'm going to need you to take off your masks!"

"Looks like my suppression technique is wearing off. We've been found out, Kisame." Itachi said, taking off his orange patterned mask. Y/n looked to her side, seeing Itachi's face for the first time. She was taken aback by his handsomeness. She didn't expect the rude man she was talking to earlier to be this... beautiful. His face looked like it had been sculpted by God himself. Her heart fluttered. Itachi caught her staring. Even though he was directly looking at her now, she didn't stop staring at him. She slowly looked straight into his eyes as he made his Sharingan visible.

The other Anbu removed his blue patterned mask, revealing his shark-like features. "Kisame! How dare you show your face back in this village!" Lady Mizukage said.

"Well, what can I say? I missed the village and we happened to be assigned to a mission here." he replied charismatically, "Oh, and I see that guy from the gate survived. I thought he might've drowned after Itachi threw him in the water."

Mei and her squad were blocking the restaurant's main entrance so there was no way of escape. At least that's what Mei thought. "Lady Mei, we need to keep the customers out of this fight and protect them!" Ao said.

"I know. How do we move this fight outside without letting the enemy escape?" she asked quietly.

Without thinking, Hangetsu threw a shuriken at Kisame and Itachi. Instead of slicing or wounding them, it cut through two water clones. "What? When did they weave the hand signs for that jutsu?!" Han said out of frustration.

"Everyone spread out! Find them!" Mei commanded. She ran over to Y/n. "Y/n! Snap out of it!" she shook her, allowing Y/n to fully be conscious again. "What did I tell you!? Also, why didn't you do anything to stop them from getting away?!" she scolded.

"I don't know... I think I was caught in genjutsu."

"Ok. I'm going to go find the Akatsuki. Y/n, stay safe." Mei said, getting ready to leave.

"Wait! Can I come with you since it doesn't seem like they care about me or my bounty? Please~" Y/n begged her sister.

"Fine."

Itachi and Kisame were running through the village, knowing the Mizukage and her team were on their tail. They both wore their masks again to make sure no one else recognized them. "Going to that restaurant was a mistake," Itachi told Kisame.

"I know. I'm sorry."

"We weren't even able to find the six-tails!"

"We can find out by getting the information out of one of the people who are chasing us," Kisame suggested. "Let's lure them out of the village and then find out... Oh, and did you recognize that auburn-haired girl that was sitting next to you?" he asked, wondering if Itachi had acknowledged Y/n at all.

"No, why? She didn't seem special or anything like that." Itachi stated.

"How, how did you not recognize her- She's the three kekkei genkai user, Lady Y/n, who has a giant bounty. Kakuzu's always raving about her and all the money he could make from capturing her." Kisame explained.

"Are you saying we should capture her?"

"Yeah. We're here so might as well collect her. And then we'll capture the six-tails." Kisame planned, grinning as the evil intent could be seen on his face. "Oh, I forgot one detail, though. I haven't figured out how to capture her since we'd have to pass the enemy to get to her."
