KYLE'S POV
"Bro what the hell was that?" I ask Xavier curiously, pushing my hood off revealing my unbrushed hair."Shittt, I'll be back." Xavier races through the glass door and runs down the ramp leaving Casey and I standing between here in confusion.
I sigh and turn my attention to Casey. He looks down into my eyes with what he calls his "puppy dog expression" on and gets jittery with excitement.
"Wanna ditch to go make the world's largest pancake?" He beams.
I dramatically roll my eyes and allow him to physically pull me out of the hallway towards the exit.
"Careful rolling your eyes, one day you'll roll them so far back they'll get stuck there forever." Casey teases in a childish voice.
My phone begins to vibrate in my pocket.
"It's Xavier." I tell Casey.

"I can't believe someone would do that. We should find her and go cheer her up." Casey pouts.
"No, we can't. Despite all this shit that's went down for this to happen, people are going to worship us. Oh and don't forget it's only our first day. The progress is frickin amazing and I sure as heck ain't turning it down." Xavier tells us proudly yet somewhat disappointed.
"Uhhh." I groan. "We've got detention and if my parents find out about this on my report card, they're gonna be pissed so I have to go. You guys coming?"
"Yeah alright." Xavier mumbles.
"But- but the world's largest pizza.." Casey says disappointedly.
"I thought it was pancake?" I question amused.
Casey gasps loudly. "Omg we could do both!!" He exclaims, punching the air with excitement.

CASEY'S POV
Mr Douglas, the teacher supervising after school detention, continues ticking off the names of the people who showed up."Casey?"
"Pizza?" I retorts with that being the only thing on my mind. Mr Douglas rudely rolls his eyes before ticking my name off. What a Debby Downer.
The teacher reaches the bottom of the list and looks at it with what appears to be sadness before looking up to read the last name.
"Gracelyn?" He asks glancing up from the paper to see if she showed. "I never thought I'd see her name on one of these." He mumbles quietly to himself.
"Kind gentlemen sir, I am thy royalty and her name was put on there by mistake. Or maybe," I gasp dramatically, "it's not there at all. You're halluuuuuucinatingggg." I wiggle my fingers, slowly lifting my arms for effect.
"Ya know what kid? I'm gonna take your word on that and cross her name out. Try not to let any other teachers know about this uh- incident with you confessing your royalty to me and all." He raises an eyebrow as if convincing himself of something. I wonder what.
He breathes a deep breath before speaking again. "Hmm, all you can scram for today." Everyone's faces light up with happiness. "If I see you's here anymore though, next time won't be so easy and that's a promise. Go on, get outta my hair." He points to the door with a slight chuckle.
Once we exit the classroom, I embrace Kyle and Xavier in a tight hug. "Aww you guys! I'm royalty now. All hail king Casey. Bow down you peasants!" I point at the ground and roll shoulders back to adjust my posture. Kyle slaps me over the head.
"Owww what was that for?"
"Cmon ya doofuses." Xavier calls out to us and we race to get by his side.
"Haha I win, you lose, now you get a massive bruise." I taunt Kyle before punching his arm with all of my force.
I poke my tongue out tauntingly and hide behind Xavier for protection.
"Na uh uh uh." Xavier pulls me out from behind him and I raise give a slight wave with a small smile as if I were a child who was caught sneaking candy.
Once given the chance, I sprint down the hallway towards the exit with them hot on my trail.
"We're gonna catch you King Casey Wasey," they taunt me in sync.
Luckily we're the same speed and I got a head start. "You wish slow pokes!"
