The infiltration

Chapter 1: The mission

(Ok, context. Adora doesn't know Catra at all, she has always been from bright moon [But she's still Shera] This is my first story so, hope you like it 😁)

Adora opened her eyes just to see a lot of people all over the place. She had just woke up, so she was very confused. Then Glimmer appeared and teleported her to the conference room. "Quick, there's no time". Glimmer made adora sit on a chair and then she sat too. The room went silent. Adora knew nothing about what was going on, until the queen Angela spoke.

"We are now aware of what the horde is planning".
Adora whispered Glimmer. "What's going on?". "Last night one of our guards went secretly to the horde territory and stole a part of their plan." Glimmer responded and then Adora shouted. "WHAT?!". Everyone turned their looks to her. "Do you want to say something, Adora?". Angela asked. "Sorry your majesty, but with dear respect, sending a soldier with no company or protection was a risky move, we don't know who or what is out there" Adora stated. "Well, soldier Adora, we are planning to attack the horde according to their plans, do you have a better plan?" The queen said with an open tone. "I don't think that would be a convenient move" Adora opined. "Then, what do you propound?" The queen spoke. "Maybe... I could infiltrate to the horde. I have my sword and powers, so if anything goes wrong, I can protect myself". "Oh, I could go too, a-and Bow!" Glimmered said with a high and excited volume. "No! It's too dangerous! The guard we sent yesterday almost got caught" The queen replied. "But we can pretend that we're new guards, and besides, we have no choice your majesty" Adora said with security and fear. "Fine then, you can go to the horde territory tomorrow soldier Adora, but only you, it's too dangerous that the three of you go there." "But mom!". Glimmer protested. "I gave an order!" The queen stopped her daughter. "Yes mom." Glimmer said with a sad tone. "The meeting's over." The queen finalized.

Adora was getting out of the conference room thoughtful, when suddenly Glimmer jumped over her. "That was a-maaa-ziiiiiiiing, well too bad we couldn't go with you, but still!". "You really think so?" Adora asked. "Yeah, why not?" Glimmer asked in confusion. "I don't know... The queen only wants the best for her kingdom, maybe she was right and I'm wrong. What if I just blew our plan up, or what if I just ruined everything? Or?". She was interrupted by Glimmer. "Ok, enough. You contradicted my mom Adora, that means your plan will work out perfectly, besides, that infiltrating thingy plan is very clever!" "Thanks glimmer."

Adora was getting ready for her big day. Three days ago she would not have thought that she was going to pretend to be a horde guard. She was not gonna lie, she was a little bit scared, but then she thought about what the horde had done and how was she going to help a lot o people no only from her kingdom.

Adora went out of her room and then went to Glimmer's. When she entered, Glimmer and Bow were talking, but they stopped when they saw Adora. They gave her a really warm hug. "We're going to miss you Adora". Glimmer said with a sad voice. "You are very brave for doing this". Bow spoke with a cracking voice. "I'm gonna miss you too guys, you'll see that I'll come back with useful information for us and the kingdom." They ended the hug and adora left the room with Glimmer and Bow saying good bye.

Adora was getting out of the kingdom when she gave a last look to it, then she continued her journey to the horde territory.

She arrived near the horde camp. She started to look around. She was hiding in the bushes while thinking of a plan. She was about to try to get in when Scorpio appeared. "Who are you?". Scorpio asked giving Adora a sinister look. "AHHh..". Adora screamed in sign of scare. "Hi... umm..., I'm part of the new, umm... guard team?..., Yes, the new guard team!". Adora said trying to convince Scorpia. "The new guard team huh?...". "Y-yupp". "Hmm... Grate!, we were waiting for you, as you know I'm Scorpia, your superior, they are your partners they will... blah... blah...blah...blah. Hum... you're late, as in the interview, Catra's not going to like that, she's not in a good humor after what I did." Scorpia said as she started walking and showing her everything, Adora followed. Adora was confused but relieved, no one recognized her, even with her being the famous Shera. Adora while walking she was thinking of what Escorpia said, she was an new guard, apparently she's always late, and... who's Catra?

Adora was very curious, so she dared to ask. "Who's Catra?". "I thought that Catra was introduced to you when you first came here." Scorpia said as she gave Adora a concerned look. "Well... umm.. I-I just forgot it, hehe." Adora said with a drop of sweat comin out of her big forehead.
"Well, maybe you did, Catra is supervising in the training room, I'll lead you there so you can introduce to Catra again." While they walked to the training room Scorpia answered Adoras question. "Since you don't remember who's Catra, I explain really quickly. Catra is my superior, like the superior of the superior haha, she's the captain." 'So, Catra is the Captain huh'. Adora thought while almost arriving to the training room.

"We're here!" Scorpia exclaimed. The both entered to the room."Uhh...CATRAA! You HEREE??". Asked Scorpia trying to find Catra. "I'm right here, what do you want Scorpia?". Catra spoke next to Scorpia with an annoyed voice. "Uhh, yea, umm, this new guard wanted to meet you." "WHAT?! That's the important thing you wanted to tell me?!. Well, fine, you're here now so..., who's that guard?" Recited Catra with her characteristic mean voice. "Hi captain, sorry for the interruption, but I wanted to meet the person behind the master plan against those 'Bright Moon guards'". Adora said bending a knee, but she was not able to see Catra's face. "Finally, someone that recognizes my work, what's your name, soldier?". Catra also wasn't able to se Adora's face because she appeared behind Scorpia and she kneeled before Catra could see her face. Adora raised her gaze just to se the captain of the guard. Their looks locked liked padlocks.

"My name's- my name's Adora captain".
