Everly sighed as she looked at the uniform laid out on her bed. She picked up the skirt and threw it in her closet. She pulled out the pants used for winter and decided to wear those instead.

UnderWorld was a private boarding school that you could get into if you took a test after middle school. Everly didn't want to hang around snobby rich kids, but she hated the idea of the high school nearby more.

After putting on her jacket she walked to school. Everly knew that she was lucky. There was no mirrors in the school because of the Vampire students. Everly was a ghost, and could not be seen in a mirror. She dreaded UnderWorld. No one knew she was a ghost, and going here might give people the chance to find out. Ghosts usually stayed in the Under world dimension. But Everly's parents insisted on going to the human world. Everly remembered the rush they were in to get out of there. Everly just shook her head, nothing in her life seemed normal.

Arriving at the school she adjusted her hat. She followed the crowd of students through the main gates and in through the front doors. Her first period was boring, as was all the other ones. At lunch she decided on going out, no use in staying here.

Walking through the forest that separated the school and the outside world she listens to the sounds around. Its peaceful until shes about in the middle of the forest. She sees an angle surrounded by two devils.

"What do you think your doing?" Everly asks, suddenly appearing in front of one of the devils.

He stumbled back before repositioning, "Get out of our way werewolf." He grunted.

Everlys frown deepened, "I'm not a werewolf."

"Then how did you teleport?" The devil behind her sneered.

Everly wished she could take them down, but resisted and just pulled the angel away. The devils muttered something as they were leaving.

"Are you okay?" Everly said as she yanked the angel behind her.

"I'm fine," The angel whimpered.

Everly sighed and stopped walking through the forest, "You can't let them walk all over you."

"But," The angel had tears coming to her eyes. "They cornered me. I didn't know what to do."

Everly put her hands on her hips, "Are all devils like that?"

She gently rubbed one of her bright white wings, "No, not all of them I suppose. But ever since they started bullying me I just avoided them."

Everly's eyebrows knitted together, "Then what are you doing in the forest? Someone from school could easily find you."

Everyone knows that the forest is unique. Only people that are attending, or did attend, can find their way through it.

"They chased me into the forest." She gulped.

Everly sighed and hugged the girl, "You need some help."

The angel stiffened, "N-no, I'm alright."

Everly pulled back, "Don't worry, I'm not planning on telling the whole school. Just hang around me, they won't try it ever again."

The angel peered hopefully at her, "You want to be my friend?"

"Why not? You seem decent. I'm Everly, by the way."

The angel play with her hair, "Rachel, Rachel Lory."

Everly nodded, but decided she didn't want to call her Rachel, "I'm going to call you Lory."

The angel smiled, but her eyes quickly held confusion, "How did you teleport? I mean, you don't look like a werewolf."

Everly hesitated. Lory seemed nice and trustworthy, but what if she shared it to the whole school? Everly sighed, Lory really didn't seem like a social butterfly, "No, I'm not a werewolf."
