17: You Are Beautiful No Matter What They Say (Lev Haiba)

Summary: Plus size model Lev Haiba is feeling a bit insecure after people said some mean things about his weight online, but luckily for him his pro volleyball player boyfriend Yaku Morisuke is there to tell him he's beautiful.

Lev had always been on the heavier side even when he had been little, he loved to eat, his parents always kept him well fed, and his sister Alisa would always spoil him rotten with sweets, so it had been inevitable that he'd end up being quite a bit heavier than most children his age, especially in high school since he never participated in any sports, and the lack of any physical activity had caused him to gain a lot of weight.

But despite the fact that Lev didn't fit the beauty standards that have been set in place these days, and he would often hear his classmates talking about his weight behind his back, Lev had always been quite happy with the way that he looks, even if most people that he was surrounded with were constantly looking at him in disgust while talking about how he should start trying to lose weight.

He had always known that he wasn't anywhere near ugly, his older sister and parents always made sure that he knew just how beautiful he is, so he was always quite confident about his looks, even if he knew most people thought he was ugly because of the fact that he's quite a bit overweight, that is until he had decided that he had wanted to become a model just like his big sister.

Lev had always know that the modeling world was cruel and relentless to anyone that had ever tried to enter it, and that it was especially cruel towards bigger people like him who still haven't fully been accepted by society yet, but Lev had been determined to make a name for himself inside of that ruthless world despite all the odds having been stacked against him.

And through many years of hardships and pain Lev had finally achieved his dream of becoming a famous plus size model, though that didn't mean that his journey to get to this point didn't come with it's own problems that to this day still haven't been fully resolved yet, because the more popular he got the more people thought that it was necessary to let him know just how much they disapproved of his appearance.

At first Lev had been overwhelmed by all of the hate that he had suddenly been getting, it was so bad that he had even ended up becoming afraid of opening his phone and seeing all of the horrible things people would say about him, at some point it had gotten so bad that it had caused him to be on the furge of depression, but luckily for him his boyfriend Yaku had been there to comfort him when he had needed it most.

But even though his boyfriend had helped him get over the insults people would occasionally feel the need to throw his way, there were still those bad days when it would be too much for Lev to handle, and those comments would end up getting to him, and it just so happens that today had been one of those days, which is exactly why Lev is currently sniffling into his boyfriend's shoulder, as the letter is stroking his hair in an attempt to comfort him.

His day had already started off quite bad, Lev had ended up accidentally oversleeping because he forgot to set his alarm the night before, which sadly caused him to miss his favorite meal of the day, breakfast, which really bummed him out because he loves slowly waking up by eating pancakes, or waffles or whatever he felt like eating in the morning, so not only was he stressed because he was late for work but he was also incredibly hungry.

And because he had ended up being late he had to stay longer to finish all of his photoshoot sessions, which were always very long and very boring, and it also involved Lev sitting still in one position for a very long time while still not having eaten anything, so he also ended up eating lunch at least two hours later than he he's used to, which had ended up putting him in an even worse mood.

And when he finally got the chance to talk to some of his coworkers and complain to them about how hungry he was, one of his other male workers felt the need to tell him something that was sure to ruin anyone's day if someone said that to them, he had said that it was a good thing that Lev hadn't eaten anything because he was already so heavy and eating more would just make him even heavier, which naturally but another damper on his already terrible mood.
