Chapter 2 : Ivory Household

"This is it?" Savani looked up on the large building in front of us. 

We finally reached the village that Yelseyara is talking about. The village is pretty lively for a region that is under scarcity. Hindi mo aakalain na mayroong problema dahil hindi iyon halata sa buong village.

But because of it's liveliness, we managed to enter and roam around the city without attracting anyone's attention. Some vampires who travels around the region are also present to collect northern things that can be sold on the other region. 

Nag-tanong tanong kami sa iba kung saan naroroon ang inn na tinutukoy ni Yelseyara at dinala kami ng mga ito sa building na nasa aming harapan. The transparent glass door made the inside for us to see, mayroong counter doon. Savani hesitated but I entered the place so we can rest.

"Excuse me?" I entered and the bell that's supposed to tell people that someone entered rang. Sinundan iyon ng pag-pasok din ni Darwin at Savani na sumunod sa akin.

A vampire approached us. She's wearing some kind of a uniform that I hinted to be the inn's worker uniforms. She welcomed us and took us to seperate rooms. Walang ibang bampira sa loob ng building kaya naman doon ko kaagad naisip na baka ipinag-bawal muna ni Yelseyara ang pag-welcome ng ibang bisita dahil dito kami pansamantalang tutuloy.

Magka-kaiba kami ng silid na inookupa nina Darwin. The room is pretty spacious for one person to occupy it. The furniture are well clean, so as the marble floor. You can see your reflection on it. Maging ang mga kagamitan sa buong silid ay maayos na naka-patas. Masasabi na pinag-handaan talaga ang aming pag-tuloy dito.

Dahil sa lamig ng klima, pumasok ako sa malaking silid kung nasaan nakalagay ang isang jacuzzi, mayroon din na wine bottle na naka-handa sa maliit na lamesang nasa tabi nito. The room is foggy because of the heater. Tinanggal ko ang lahat ng aking saplot bago inilubog ang aking katawan sa mainit at nakakaginhawang tubig mula sa jacuzzi.

The water is boiling but the temperature is just enough to satisfy the heat I am looking for after running wild in the cold snow. Pumikit ako sandali bago inabot ang wine bottle na aking nasa tabihan. The seal on the wine is familiar, it's from the Garnet Household. Part of the Hues and their business is specialize on making raw blood into a tasteful alchohol. 

I poured the blood on the champagne glass and drank it. My senses sharpen and I can feel the blood rushing to every part of my body. Ramdam ko na nag-iba ang kulay ng aking mga mata. Epekto iyon ng alak na produkto ng mga Garnet. 

Matapos kong ipahinga ang aking sarili ay bumalik na ako sa silid upang matulog. 

Morning came suddenly and we are ready to depart. Lumabas  ako ng aking silid at tinahak na ang daan patungo sa labas. Nang makarating ako sa lobby ng inn, naroon na nag-iintay sa akin ang aking mga kassama. My cousin rolled her eyes on me while Darwin stood up. We left the place and a carriage was waiting on us. There's an Ivory emblem on the carriage's door so I recognized it.

"A carriage. You only sent us now?" Reklamo ni Savani at umirap bago padabog na pumasok sa karwahe. Sumunod kami sa kaniya. 

Dahil sa karwahe na ipinadala ng pamilya ng Ivory, mabilis na kaming nakarating sa kastilyo ng mga Ivory. Tumigil ang karwahe sa harapan ng malaking kastilyo. Nakahilera ang mga katulong upang batiin ang aming pag-dating. Sa mga bampirang aming nasa harapan, isa lamang ang umagaw sa aking pansin.

Isang babaeng naka-tayo sa aming harapan upang kami ay batiin. Wearing a silver winter coat with furry ends, Yelseyara Ivory stood gracefully in our presence. She lifted her head up to look at us and it revealed her eyes with a faint gold color. Her long lashes are visible everytime she blinks, her facial features are almost perfect, her silver white long hair is hanging on her right shoulder.
