Without any further warning or conversation, I launched myself at my opponent. This time I wasn't holding back anything.
Make them understand
Bucky isn't ready for me. Here's my advantage.
As the adrenaline kicked in I took two quick steps forward and sent a powerful kick to his back causing him to crumble to the hard ground landing on this stomach, I crouched down to his level,
"Fight back" I whispered into his ear,
"No" He growled between clenched teeth.
He's angry this is it.
Hearing his answer I scoffed and stood up grabbing the back of his shirt using all the strength in me to effectively flip him to be laying on his back, I once again sent a kick straight for him while he was down.
He caught it. With his metal arm. Just like that, no one else was around. Just me and Bucky.
He is ready.
One swift movement of his arm sent me flying to the side of him. I landed hard in a heap on the ground beside him, but I didn't stay down. I couldn't. I pushed my body up with my arms and bounced back to my feet just in time to duck under Bucky's left arm as it was making its way for my face.
His stance is open. His arms are too far from his body. Use it against him.
Before he could retract his arm after the punch I slid into his stance with my back pressed to his torso, I reached up and quickly wrapped my arms around his neck simultaneously leaning forward throwing him over my small body letting go just before he hit the ground in front of me with his back to me.
Let's just say he wasn't too happy once again finding himself on the ground, as I stood back upright a hand shot out and grabbed one of my ankles before I knew it I was being pulled toward him with such force that I fell onto my back whilst still being dragged. Once he had me on my back beside him he stood over me and sent a punch towards my face, rolling to the side I narrowly avoided another fist to the face.
Yet again I used my arms to push myself up and to my feet to find a blow from my opponent waiting for me, I blocked the kick he'd sent for my stomach allowing myself just enough time to get back to proper stance.
Bucky and I seemed to move in sync like we had been fighting together and training together since we first learnt how to fight, every move was perfectly countered by the other fighter like an angry choreographed dance.
The attacks didn't stop from either of us, the punches kept rolling and only half of them landed on their intended targets. I relaxed into my stance for a single second but he noticed and threw a heavy foot to my chest sending me flying to the ground.
Upon impact I winced feeling a sharp pain in the back of my head, I felt warm tracks make their way down the back of my neck. I needed to end this now before I started to feel any of the hits I'd taken.
I push myself to my feet hopefully for the last time, Bucky is standing directly across from me, his eyes burning holes in mine.
This is ending now. I ran at him as if I was going to make a move at his head and he shifted his weight back ready to block my headshot, right as I was about to attack I dropped down and slid at his undefended legs sweeping them out from underneath him sending him face-first into the grass with a grunt. I recovered fast, back onto my feet ready for my final move.
Bucky stood slowly one leg at a time and turned to face me again, spitting a lump of blood and grass to the side. He was going to be sure this ended now I needed to beat him to it.
