Today I'm going into an insane casting call back for spidergirl I'm so excited. If I get this part I'll literally be part of the MCU. Oh here were pulling up now. A large building stands tall before my small frame as I glance at the working windows of all of the people working on these assignment. ( sry I don't know shit about this stuff).
I walk into the building before being directed by a small man at the front desk to a room a few floors up. Once I walk in I see many other girls waiting in a line, their makeup pristine and a girl walking out eyes glossy. I see these women in tight skirts and figure they really must be trying to get the part. I walk into the room with my best suit on once it's finally my turn and say my name y/n l/n and the main lady as I'd like to call her asks me to recite a line that I have been practicing.
I begin," But there's no way I'm nothing special! This can't be happening why did you pick me!" I acted shocked as I played my role I begin my next sentence before being escorted out immediately by some people.
I guess they didn't like me. Once the men let go of my elbows I call an uber and cry, This was the biggest opportunity I've ever had and I blew it.
.........One Month Later..........
I'm laying in bed when I get a call from I don't even know what number I decide to play a prank on them and pick up the phone. " Bob's Bar Can I take your order" I say confidently when the person on the other end of the phone asks, " Is this y/n l/n,"
I'm confused is this not a trash call, " uhm yes " I reply well I was just calling to let you know that you got the part of spider girl and are required to come into the office tomorrow bright and early at 9 am.
" My jaw drops and my mouth become dry. I try to think of words to say ."eek!" I screech " Thank you so much!" I can't wait.
